You know, for the longest time, Rick was never the most versatile hand to hand fighter in TWD. Up close he always fought like a cop with throws and chokeholds. The CRM‘s military training might give him a special forces advantage now.
@@littleaqua32rick fighting on base value is nothing special - he throws strong haymakers and can use some basic wrestling - but it’s his toughness and killer instinct that helps him prevail. when faced with a fighter of better physicality (i.e. Negan, the Governor) he tends to struggle to fight head on but willing to do anything to win which js what makes him so dangerous. both fights with Negan would of ended up with him losing and him vs the governor was close but had Michonne not intervened he would of died. now he receives military training and judging from what we’ve seen, he has shaped up to be the best fighter of the entire universe now having not to rely on solely his toughness
@BigMisterApple Definitely, that guy wanted to be a part of a military force again. Especially a unite whose goal was to save civilization. I'm remembering the episode where he was excited wearing a military uniform again.
the only problem is that Abraham would be an A and he'd have to be designated as a B, because while he'd follow orders from the major general, he'd realize that his plans are already tainted, unless he becomes solely brainwashed by the CRM program, he'd become a full time killer and prob eliminate rick if he did manage to be a part of the CRC community. the story of rick grimes travels all around the US from what i remember in the comics, especially in GA/VA/DC and Ohio. but to see abe in a what if on this would be badass.
I was worried about Rick's abilities after losing he's hand, but wow! Did not expect that he would become more dangerous than ever with metal prosectic and hidden blade.
@droneographytv8848 me I'm not worried because the #comicrick did lose his hand I just don't know in what circumstance. I guess the military training also help him adjust to his artificial hand
How the fuck did we go from a classic "surviving into a zombie apocalypse and pushing the character's morality just to survive" into Resident Evil Umbrella Corps???
Bro seeing Rick now as this like hardened military trained post apocalyptic soldier with an assassin hidden blade is just so fucking badass! Especially with the gear on, dude looks legit!
I've never watched much of The Walking Dead. But seeing this moment takes me way back to WWZ (the book). The turning point where humanity reorganized and refitted to take the fight to the undead, the book describes similar blue uniforms and protective gear, their tactics shifted to sustainment and methodical volley fire after funneling in large concentrations into chokepoints and traps.
Then you missed a lot in the episode and don't understand Rick's desperation. Dude spent the first half of the episode going crazy trying to find a way to escape. Literally a dog chewing it's chains to get free.

He starts as policeman and now IS a military combat soldier.

he also knows the basics of cqc and has a bionic arm
