We just did a little research on this and apparently they switch between non-stop flight seasons and ber-ath-sin flight seasons. They just stopped offering the non-stop flights and it's not clear when they'll bring it back. Maybe at the end of this year until next spring, but there are no official statements yet.
12 hours without food isnt possible. Scoot cant forbid you eating normal food for 12 hours, and force you to eat their dogfood. This is not just immoral, but also illegal.
@@DimitriosKvs Scoot's website says: "Consumption of outside food and beverages is not allowed on board." We did asked them beforehand if we can bring our own plant-based food on the plane and their reply was: "(..) you need to bring some documents from your doctor since you have a special dietary since bringing food inside on the boarding plane is not allowed unless you have supporting documents." We haven't brought any documents and like we've just showed in the video, they didn't say anything as long as you're eating your food quietly and respectfully. We don't actively encourage to bring your own food and we can't guarantee that everyone will have the same experience, however, we do feel uncomfortable with that rule as well. It seems legally fine to forbid bringing food, as their rule still applies after all these years.
They have direct flights again? I thought you have to transit in Athens?
