Interesting. I hear another set in the distance activate right as Savage’s second cycle shuts off. Is that Burnsville? If so, they must have tested a little late! (I was at school in St. Paul and Ramsey County tested almost 10 minutes late). I also faintly hear a lower pitched siren further in the distance (around 7:00, 8:15 and 8:40 in the video for example), any idea where that is? It has to be a different model from the rest. My house is in between a higher and lower pitched siren (the lower pitched one was installed within the last decade) so it makes for a cool ambiance!

That’s not another set of sirens, that’s Savage’s sirens reactivating. They ran 3 minutes of alert twice, 6 in total. Burnsville’s sirens can be heard after those shut down. Nope, Scott county tested early. Scott county went off at 12:56, Dakota at about 12:03. That would be Shakopee’s Whelens.

@@midwestsirens that makes sense. Yes, I was referring to after Savage’s second cycle (after it shut off, then reactivated for the second cycle, then shut off again), there was a quieter sound in the distance. Sounds like that was Burnsville. But the lower pitched one I was hearing was during Burnsville’s set, after Savage/Scott County had completed their two activations. So what I was hearing had to have been from Dakota County (I would assume Shakopee would have shut off with Savage, since they’re on the same system). Sorry if that’s confusing! Thanks for clearing that up!

@@anonymouspumpkin4864 The Scott County EMA sets off the sirens by city, not the whole county at once. The low pitched siren you heard was a Shakopee whelen.
