I saw this in the theater when it came out, or about two or three years after.... I was about seven or eight years old... after they tore your ticket ,on the way in to the theater, they gave you some green slime in a small container... LOL! it was the same kind of stuff that they have now in toy stores and department stores....
My younger sister and I watched it at the drive in from the back of my parents station wagon. I was 7 years old. Those were some great times and I wish I could go back and do it again.
NOO!!!! I can't handle this!! this looks like the most insanely outstanding movie of all TIME!! I've never heard of this before... at the end of the trailer, when that "green slime" song kicks in, I was literally weeping due to an overload of AWESOMENESS! too amazing for words! MUST BUY THIS!
I saw this at the movies when i was eight years old, it scared the hell out of me, mom had a tough time putting me to bed that night... lol great theme song too.
"...beyond the greatest human intellect!" Me: Oh, I wonder what it could be? "THE GREEN SLIME!!!" HAHAHA, they even have a music peace for it at the end.
Saw this around 1970 in Jeddah, Saudia Arabia at the Old TWA compound outdoor movie theater. 53 y/o now, looking it up on UA-cam. Back then we didn't have a house phone. Crazy world.
I like this movie. Yeah it's low budget and some of the acting is terrible, but it's fast paced and imaginative, even the monsters are pretty interesting despite the cheapness.
Yep...this one used to give me the willies when I was a kid, so now of course is one of my favorites! Total camp, over-the-top hilarity but damn...those friggin' monsters still pack a bit of a mental whallop!
I saw this just after it was released. As a nine year old I thought it was Great! It actually scared me. When I saw it years later I realized how incredibly cheesy it really was. But I still think it's awesome. The theme song is freaking cool... Makes me chuckle..
This movie needs a proper DVD release! They don't make 'em like this anymore. These days kids are saturated with CGI monsters and scenes that are edited so fast you can hardly make out what happened. The Green Slime is a true classic!
the special fx were impressive and the space creatures were impressive too this movie's poster was used in the movie return of the the aliens the deadly spawn.
There isn't a DVD out - except in Japan as I found out. But i'm turning a VHS rip into a DVD with a custom DVD cover. I'm trying to find all the posters available for it as well as trailers, etc to put in as special features. That's about the only way to get it onto DVD.
Two monsters from the original Dungeons & Dragons in the 1977 Monster Manual were certainly inspired from this...the Green Slime and the Roper. www.thiel-a-vision.com/images/games/dnd/dndroper.jpg
Really cool movie, I thought some of the acting was quite bad but it doesn't matter. The monsters are just so creepy and cool looking you will like it.
Pure fun schlock at its best and a fond memory from my childhood there needs to be a big budget sendup of this film from Hollywood Mel Brooks are you game ???
I just googled for "old sci fi movies" to find this one! I remember this movie scaring the bejeebies outta me when I was 6 or something and had to find out what it was! It's wierd, one of the things I definately remember is that wierd screeching noises that they made. Ooooooh, I got the shivers!
@internationalgiant1 Good news! Warner Bros Archive's made to order service have just released it on DVD. Its 16 X 9 Letterbox and remastered but has no extras.
Game creator Tom Wham has cited this movie as the source of inspiration for his terrific, now-classic board game "The Awful Green things From outer Space." Too bad there wasn't a way to include a copy of that song in the box, though! XD
This movie is so weird that it is good, as a child i use to be awed at the strange nature of this film. Especially the fact that all the aliens are about 3 ft 4 inches tall ! At times to me it all seemed kind of silly-in a serious kind of way. Then it all equals out-especially how the movie ends in no win scenaurial fashion- Awesome dude.
I saw this as a kid...7 years old, at the drive-in theatre. Man! Great memories!!!

Fantastic low budget movie!!! One of my favourites!!!
Im going to watch this now, better than cgi anaconda trash!

This was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I could watch it over and over!
The theme song is an underrated masterpiece
Bro I've had this stupid song in my Head since I was 7 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@tlaw8992 THIS. It's more insidious than the monster itself.

"THE GREEN SLIME!!!"
HAHAHA, they even have a music peace for it at the end.
Oh...I remember this at the drive in movie theater in the early 70's...man that was fun.
Thank you so much! In these serious days I needed a booster shot of my childhood memories. We all wanted to be astronauts in the 60s.
When I thought nothing could be worse, a theme song kicks in! Unbelievable!

"The 21st Century, world of the future." LOL. Thanks for uploading this. I remember seeing this movie when I was about 5 years old.
Well, the 21st century WAS the future in 1968.
1969 - went to see revival of Disney's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and saw this trailer which I've never forgotten!
I've seen "The Green Slime" only a few times, when it was on Turner Classic Movies later on at night.
ThisGuy Here Oh, metoo, way back in 1995. A long, long time agoooo!
Yep...this one used to give me the willies when I was a kid, so now of course is one of my favorites! Total camp, over-the-top hilarity but damn...those friggin' monsters still pack a bit of a mental whallop!
The song was the BEST!!!! Like a hippy reunion tour musical!!! The Green Sliiiiiiiiime
Man one of my favorite memories is being ten years old and watching this on a Saturday afternoon with my Granddad.
Saw this movie as a kid at the drive-in as a double bill with Night of the Living Dead! Scared the crap out of my brother and I. I was only 10.
I can only imagine what you thought of NOTLD.
my dad took me and my sister to see this movie when we were really young
Luciana Paluzzi...her best work since 1965's "Thunderball".
Saw this in the cheaters when I was kid lol. Loved it then.
first saw this movie in 1988 when I was 7. it scared me a little but at the same time it was fun to watch
Kind of sounds like a Bond song at the end there.
Look up the song on UA-cam, you won't be disappointed :)
I own Night of the Lepus. I'll have to post the trailer for that one, too.
I remember watching this movie during the 80s. Good old channel 20 would play this at least four times a year.
TCM (Turner Classic Movies) has played this occasionally, along with the other three loosely-related movies, all set on Space Station Gamma.
that is amazing
the tales behind b flicks are great
I saw this just after it was released. As a nine year old I thought it was Great! It actually scared me.

the sfx are to die for! Love it!
From Thunderball to this..poor Luciana Paluzzi
Ahem, MGM's 2 science fiction movies that year: 2001 a Space Odyssey, and The Green Slime. Classic.
thanks for posting this...............love it
Still better than Avatar
Exactly!
THIS IS THE GREATEST MOVIE TRAILER OF ALL TIME
I love how this is somehow rated G. I saw it one Saturday afternoon when I was a kid and it scared the crap out of me. Didn't they have PG back then?
It's Green Slime!!! And WE'RE SOAKING IN IT!!!
Saw this as a kid at the drive in theater back in the late sixties early seventies! HA!
Richard Jakel starred in this and The Dirty Dozen with Lee Marvin the same year. What a year.
Shoulda had more of the funky theme song, I almost thought it would have none of it, until the end cheered me up
that is quite possibly the greatest theme song of all time
This movie needs a proper DVD release! They don't make 'em like this anymore. These days kids are saturated with CGI monsters and scenes that are edited so fast you can hardly make out what happened. The Green Slime is a true classic!
THANK YOU for this upload!
The DVD was released by MGM on October 26, 2010 or December 17, 2010, depending on which source you believe.
saw this when i was a kid kool B movie LOVE IT..!!!!
impressive creature and special effects!
Billed as the First American / Japanese Science-Fiction Co-Production. A fun movie.
I love this film. Shout! Factory should do a special edition of it, like they did with all of Roger Corman's movies.
WHOAH! Didn't see that song coming. Smooth.
Killer! Why aren't movies like this on DVD?
Watching this now on TCM, says it was made in 1969. Saw this at the drive in back then, that is was soooooo freakin cool. lol
🎵🎶GREEN SLIIIIIIIIIME!!!!!🎵🎶😄
Best narrator EVER!
I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going.
The final sequence with Gamma 3 hurtling towards Earth is impressive!
I was 10 when I saw it in Italy... at the end feared but happy... :)
They need to remake this. The plot was pretty good. If done correctly, someone might have a blockbuster on they're hands.
the special fx were impressive and the space creatures were impressive too this movie's poster was used in the movie return of the the aliens the deadly spawn.
W.I.V.S. radio bringing you the best in sci-fi trailers!

You wouldn't even need Joel/Mike and the 'Bots to have fun with this one. You have to love the theme song.
Sounds like the best faux-jazz soundtrack ever.
I'd saw it on tv a long time ago when I was a kid. Not too scary but it's good.
this IS TOTAL & UTTER JOY!! :D

Yeah I love the 1968 movie the green slime
I'm glad they went in a different direction, that movie scared the crap out of me when I was a kid (6 years old when it came out).

Check out those amazingly realistic set designs!
This is the most epic thing I have ever seen...
Good times.
Rated G !!!!
I know right 😊
Otherwise known as "Commander Elliot and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day." :) Holds up pretty well really.
This is GLORIOUS!!!
Imagine if Lost In Space had been filmed by thirteen year olds with their older brothers model spaceships...

How did they make the monsters look so real!..lol..this looks like a good cheezy movie ;)
Tne song played during the last few seconds is awesome. The Greeeen Slimeeeeeeeee....very Soundgarden.
Maybe one day, I just might catch this flick on the "ThisTV" digital movie subchannel in my area... ;-)
Just when it couldn't get any more ridiculous: "Green Slime! Green Slime!" lol
Game creator Tom Wham has cited this movie as the source of inspiration for his terrific, now-classic board game "The Awful Green things From outer Space." Too bad there wasn't a way to include a copy of that song in the box, though! XD

the most accurate prediction of the 21st century.
The best. Plain and simple.
It was directed by Kinji Fukasaku, who later directed the controversial "Battle Royale" in 2000.
I damned good movie and I loved the psychedelic theme song....
love this movie it is a lot of fun to watch
Awesome theme song. I'd love to have the toys.
I just bought this on VHS. Then again, I buy anything with Luciana in it.
I remember seeing this movie when I was a kid. Man, did I think it was a cool movie back then. Ah, the good 'ol days.
