first thing I thought was "wow what a beautiful version of this great Stones song".....thanks for posting these videos! I've always loved the Stones and you cover a lot of the lesser played numbers...I'm a beginner hoping to learn some Stones riffs......awesome job with all of these
Dude you amaze me! this song poped into my head and I tried to figure it out by ear... that Em chord I had mistaken for a G probably because the way you play it with adding the E and B strings at the 3rd fret. I knew something wasnt right so I found your video. I hadnt gotten as far as the chords he is soloing over but you saved me the time and frustration on that one too.... Thankyou!!
This is beautiful!! Also i've said it before and I'll say it again, you should check out Stuck Out All Alone by the Stones! Keith is on guitar and Brian Jones is on bass it's beautiful
Bro !! Thanks for the most random tunes! The B side tracks especially. Or I can’t remember ... this may be an A side track. Fucking love that song!!!! Thank you. Your videos have helped me so much . Helped me build confidence especially.
Nice. That'll be my playing fun later. Love the tone that Strat. Have you left the trem unblocked or unscrewed (if that's a thing) because you prefer the sound? Can't recall seeing you use a trem.
Your videos have helped me in so many ways, even beyond guitar skills. It's nice to just hang out and listen. Since you've got the strat out, any thoughts on Derek and The Dominos?
@@jamesjames9275 Thanks! You nailed it! I’m a big fan of your channel and always loved this song. I’d play and replay it on the vinyl record. Like Loving Cup it has a special laid back but dramatic vibe. There is a lot going on in the backgound, so there are layers of complexity but at the same time it is very direct.
The work by Mick Taylor and Nicky Hopkins in this song makes me so happy to be alive.

You know it’s a good day when James uploads a Stones AND Queen lesson
Thank you.

The only Stones song according to Mick Taylor with a Major 7th chord.
Fool to cry is another one
@@liddasat By then Taylor was already out of the band ...
Great Good Stuff!!

Love that axe, classic color!
Just the best.
Nice , and that Stratocaster is beautiful!
Sabres jersey takes me back to the privettricker days
God, I love your old Buffalo jerseys.
Great job! IMO Mick Taylor's most beautiful piece of music. Ah, what might have been....
thanks for this lesson my brotherinlaw has cancer and has asked me to learn this song for him

I’m not a tremolo fan. There are plenty of players who use it really well, so I’ll leave it to them.
I have a new song for the weekend jam with friends.
Thanks James

It’s funny, I think of that more as a Duane Allman album, so to me, it’s a Les Paul record, not a Strat record.
Excellent as usual! Could you comment on how you achieve that tone? It’s more than reverb right? It really makes the song in my view.
Phaser.
