I imagine my very healthy and alive dog dying of old age and it makes me CRY. Dogs dying in a movie is a sure fire way to get me bawling for days. Who hurt you Connor!? Something in Connor's heart is broken.
Not everyone has a dog or cares about them. For me, dogs are like any other animal. If a cow, bird or dog dies in a movie, I wouldn’t cry for the sake of it.
People always used to say to me how sad Marley and Me is, then I watched it and didn't get what everyone was talking about. Then I watched it again some years later, in the meantime I had got a dog for the first time, and I cried my eyes out 😂😂 so maybe this guy needs to get a dog.

Because he didn’t want someone with Clydesdales coming back and complaining about false advertising, he halved the horses he used. The I am Legend dog dying is not just about the dog dying...His daughter gave him that dog to look after when getting on the helicopter. Its like a piece of him lost his daughter again. Plus...its super sad when dogs die.
For me, she was a great great companion and definitely a huge loss. Not about having been given by the daughter. Having to kill someone you love, that's gotta hurt.

It's fictional dogs... Who cares? The movies always tries to make the death of a dog into a much bigger deal than people dying in films. John Wick is a great film, but he barely knew that dog and it's death makes him massacre a bunch of people.

Dogs train themselves! 🤣(In reality, fairly certain dog trainers on movies work pretty darn hard too). Also, fascinated by this guy's bizarre interpretation that you watch movies to "focus on the actors" but, are not meant to get invested in the actual story those actors are trying to tell. 🙃 It's not actually a compliment to tell an actor that you felt nothing during their emotional grieving performance when their character's dog died.... For goodness sake, people cry when Wilson gets lost in "Castaway" and that's not because the volleyball is so darn amazing! It's all because of Tom Hanks' performance. (It's called empathy...)

His response to the ET comment was the best😅
I was cracked when he did one interview with Jennifer Lawrence for Passengers promoting that they had to be shady on each others.
