Just bought top model vx cvt 2 weeks back. Very silent engine, extremely comfortable. Superb beige interior looks spacious, great infotainment sound quality, super head light system. Easy to drive on highways and even on congested city traffic. Even at 90 kmph speed, very stable to drive. No body roll on turning at high speed. Rear seats are very comfortable also. Good boot space for long drive luggages. Can see the full bonnet from the driver seat. Extremely happy with sedan. Highly recommended car for family and easy relaxed comfortable driving experience and tension free journey.

I bought Amaze VX Automatic car and driven approx 5K km. If I drive car keeping front windows open 1 inch (for air circulation), AC off, I get 22-24 KMPL milage for highway. For AC on, Milage drop till 16-17. In City with moderate trafic, AC on, Milage is approx 13-14. To get good milage, key is, dont accelarate too much and drive in Eco condition (notified on speedometer).Feel under power, but power can be drawn little more in Drive mode with padel shifter (-Ve). Yes shock absobers are little steef, but better you can control vehicle with slow down speed (Making it as habit). Basic voice assistance available. Music system is good. Stability is very good. Love to drive in trafic because of its easeness. Get overspeed alert (I like this feature). Thought hill hold assist not claimed by company, still this effect can be enjoyed in automatic version on steef road, or on signal stop. If you avoid rash driving, and love to drive a car in syatematic way, Car is for you.
I have been driving Amaze CVT since Feb 2024 . Bought it new and my first Honda. All the pros and cons that you have mentioned are correct. In addition I have observed that since the reverse camera is not of very good quality one has to depend on one’s own observation while reversing Now this is where the problem starts. As the boot cover is not visible from the driver’s seat there are all the chances of misjudgement and hitting the rear against something. The boot cover should have been a few millimetres higher to solve this problem or there could have been some built-in reference points like a spoiler. If you really want to be safe you have to shell out a good 9000/- rupees to get a good spoiler fixed.
Another problem with CVT version is that the gear shift lever is very rough , jerky and noisy. In addition the P,R, D, S indication signs on the shift lever should be illuminating. It is very difficult for a first time automatic car driver to ascertain which position the transmission is in at night.
A very valid point raised by you is the wrongly calibrated volume switch. It is either too high or too low. Instead a simple old style knob gives you all the freedom of choosing your desired volume. I have both a knob and preset volume control in my Verna.
Overall the car is true to its reputation of being a Honda in terms of reliability, good fit and finish and build quality.
Hope Honda takes care of the various shortcomings pointed out above and by you in the new Amaze which is round the corner.

2- Interier me Bhi bahut hi jyada update ki aavsyakata hai.
Camera ko change kare.
LCD ko bhi change kare.
grab handle fix hai.Foldable hona chahiye.
Rear me AC hona chahiye.
Sheet belt ko change kare.
Air bag 4 hona chahiye.
Plastic hard hai.Shoft hona chahiye.
Aur jo problem hai use short out kare.
Etana change karate hi better ho jayegi.
Agar Indian market me rahana hai.

I have driven the Amaze cvt to ghat roads, Matheran hill station, that has steep uphill with 4 adults and a child. It's not the best, but it's not too sluggish. It's manageable.

Congratulations bro...I am also planning to buy a VX CVT. My only doubt is 170mm ground clearance.Have you ever face any issue on mountains(hilly area) or on sharp bumpers in a city due to low ground clearance??

Poor pick up, poor metal quality, poor loose plastic cover, flapping window glass, poor mileage, no sunroof, no headrest for rear seats, price 11.9 lakhs, not worth the cost. Good for people who are learning to drive.

Good review!! Let me tell you I was used to skoda rapid1.6 MPI for two years till last month. Bohot Bhagaaya aur 35K kms chalaaliya. Ab Honda amaze vx cvt liyaa. I want to tell you the automatic car gives you more control than a manual car. The mileage is just awesome if you maintain the driving in Eco range. I get >14 in the city and over 17 on highway. I haven’t yet gone on a long drive on highway. I am sure I can get more than 20 kmpl of mileage. I don’t have any problems with volume button or the other issue that you mentioned. It’s a perfect car with whatever necessary features you need. Wireless charger is a blessing!! The only thing I feel is that there’s not much space to keep your things in the front seat. If there are two mobiles you need to look for space where to keep the second mobile. That’s not even an issue but just a little inconvenience. The interiors are plastic and not premium but that’s not an issue. You are getting a perfectly tuned no nonsense automatic car top end model for 12 lakhs On road!!! C’mon!!! I am more than happy with this car and I don’t miss Skoda at all!! One more thing. Once you taste this CVT automatic, you’ll never even look at manual cars. That’s my confirmed view. Service quality is also absolutely professional. The sales experience was just top notch. No manipulation, no convincing. They just give a test drive, tell clearly what’s on offer, and leave the decision to you. They are extremely patient, and are willing to spend any amount of time explaining to you all about the car and giving you the test drive. Honda is just a superior experience for a customer. I love Honda. If you are looking for a no nonsense car and full peace of mind Honda is for you. The driving of Honda is just a breeze!

I have VX CVT . Except some gimmicky features this car offers everything. Mainly a four cylinder engine unlike those three cylinder jacked up hatchbacks. Looks premium feels premium specious and way more comfortable than any other car in this price point . In my opinion it's one of the value for money car . Talking about the milage it gives me around 19 kmpl on highway and 15-16 kmpl on city. It always gives me an average above 18 kmpl .

I have bought VX CVT, agree with you, but still 1-2 features were must now a days. I added TPMS, which could have been provided by the company and if top variant had sunroof, would have been a nice addition.

Having Amaze 1.2 iVtech since last 5 years, it's Very nice car, very comfortable for long drive.
When I test drove the Amaze cvt I got a certain vintage vibe from this car. In contrast a car like i20 had a more modern interior. The vintage vibe clicked with me.
The cvt transmission was really good and great driving dynamics. Honestly , its a very attractive car for certain people like me who like that vibe.

Bro half review is totally wrong about Amaze,, Are you kidding me it's suspension is ultra soft even in facelift which is the major problem not stiff, Gear shifting is not that good
Perhaps you are the only expert who gives detailed and unbiased review for genuine buyers. I was happy with your frank review. The only think I suggest you must touch upon the features which are essential and which one uses during driving regularly. Because I feel that there are a lot of features which no one uses but wants to have which makes no sense. Take example of cruse control in city driving. If one has to use car purely in city then this function is of no use. Even in highways the way people drive here you need to be on the controls ever time. You never know who hits you from which direction. Overall a very informative and unbiased review.
I think Honda should also give "Cruise Control" in CVT as an option... It's a terrible miss considering its utility for an automatic car!!!
I have purchased honda Amaze in 2022 VX MT i feel drivers seat is not comfortable and there is no proper head support i feel neck pain in long drives, and drivers reclining anglel is not good😢

You are sitting close to the streeing, come back slightly and you will feel good.
Lower the seat and steering... Slide the seat backwards such way tha you will get proper thighs support and keep the seating angle at 100-110 degree.. there you go...

I have been driving a 2015 SMT for last 9 years...Stability as you mentioned is second to none...a thing i noticed during my 1st test drive....And it still gives me the same comfort after 9 years...Honda engines are the best...avg 20+kmpl mileage on highway and 14-15 in city considering its a 9 yrs+ engine...and very truly said about the rear seat comfort and space
Its pricing is very competitive a automatic CVT is around 10-11 lakd rupees.
And advantages of HONDA car everyone knows.
Moreover its looks and paint quality its appearance is premium and attractive.
More safer than similar cars available in this segment.
Very spacious , good mileage, you may keep this for 15-20 years without any probkems.

Detailed review but please do mention about features like paddle shifter. It indeed helps in overtaking safely on highways. Also mention about S mode in cvt. It makes car comfortable to drive on steep roads

Poor Low end torque is a major let down in traffic. Otherwise the engine is quite smooth and reliable.

Cruise Control comes only in manual and not in Automatic (CVT)... CVT gets paddle shifters...😐
