Introducing Our BRAND NEW Dual Overdrive Guitar Pedal!
🤠 Side 1: After gaining confidential access to one of SRV’s original 1983 Screamer pedals, we've finally unlocked the BluesPrint™ to the juiciest, fat mid-hump overdrive tone ever!
The reference unit we selected has a strong possibility of being the same pedal used during Stevie's legendary El Mocambo performance, boasting a distinctively clear and dynamic sound for a ‘green’ style circuit.
Ⓜ️ Side 2: Reverse-engineered to ‘break’ the original blues code, this second side delivers a 1:1 vintage warm and punchy tone that would continuum to put hairs on John Mayer's chest!
🗺️ But here's where the real magic happens: When you combine Side 1 and Side 2, you can unlock a secret pathway to your own signature overdrive tone with the limitless tonal options at hand!
BluesPrint™ Features:
• Side 1: Fat, clear & dynamic TS-style
• Side 2: Vintage, warm & punchy BB-style
• Independent Volume, Drive, and Tone knobs
• Internal A-B / B-A order switch
• Handcrafted in the UK
• Standard 9V power input
• True bypass switching

Definitely has more clarity in the low end. Awesome pedal.

Sounds great, you nailed it, nice work!
Thanks so much 🤗🎸
Solid! I appreciate the comparisonChris!
Thanks so much for watching
Nice side by side comparison Chris!. I ordered both the BluesPrint and the Texan Twang today. Can’t wake to try them live.
Thank you so much for the support mate, hope you love the tones 🤠❤️
Sounds Fantastic

Thanks a lot for the support 🚀🟦
What a fantastic video have a wonderful day chris ❤😊
Thank you mate, have a great day yourself ❤️🚀
WOW! There really is a difference in terms of clarity... Now it's interesting
Thanks so much ❤️🚀
Defo getting one of these! Especially with the 2 sides to the pedal makes it more versatile than the tube screamer whilst having all that old school goodness!
Thank you so much for the support 🚀❤️
😱sounds killer man - I can't wait to get my hands on one ( just sent a pedal to you for your trade deal 🤗) i listened with headphones...both actually sounded great but your pedal definitely sounded more open and a little less compressed. the massive difference was at the end of the vid, when you maxed out the volume & gain on both pedals...the bluesprint really held together while i thought the 80's one got messy. the blueprint has more clarity on the bassier notes also. I think you've smashed it out of the park with this and i haven't even heard the blues breaker side yet lol.... i'll be putting it up against the red side of my king of tone when it arrives and excited to see which one is victorious haha
Thanks so much Steve, really appreciate the trade and in-depth analysis of this video. Thanks so much for that support and that’s a great idea with the king of tone aha 🤗🎸
Ive been watching the guitar pedal market for the last 20 years and its just hilarious to me. In 2023 they are trying to sell us a tube screamer in a new box and create hype with a tube screamer and blur out the internals? ahahahahhaa. I guess anything can happen after we saw what the Klon did.
that's a great pedal
Thanks very much for that 🎸🟦
Sounds tasty
I have t9 from 80s killer pedal !
That’s awesome, they really are amazing 🟩🚀
Are you using a JBL d120-f speaker?
Great work as always! Why is Stevie’s tube screamer blurred out? So competitors can’t replicate the pedal also?
That one isn't Stevie's, it's just a normal 80s one that's equally beat up. I mentioned in the other video that I don't think they (PP) even ever had the Stevie one in-hand to do a proper feel/ear test against - Red Slim only ever sent them some photos of the inside (which would show next to nothing since it would just be a normal TS). So we're riding the marketing train hard on this one.
@@wecandisarm If seeing the inside of the pedal wouldn’t tell you anything, the Klon guy wouldn’t have put black goop all over the inside of the pedal to hide his work. Obviously seeing the exact parts, capacitors and wiring will tell you a lot.
What I'm saying is that seeing the insides of a stock TS from the 80's isn't like seeing some new circuit that's never been done before. Any screamer from that era will essentially be the same so the part values are widely known (it was a mass produced product, it's not like they made one special for Stevie). If the SRV screamer had something special going on you'd normally be associating that to parts tolerance drift for which you would need to have the actual pedal in-hand to do prober A/B testing to assess sonic differences.@@davidbakerscuba
Red Slim asked for these internal images not to be leaked online so we are honouring that 🎸🚀
@@wecandisarmSupposedly Chris did have the actual pedal in hand to do this "clone". I don't think Steve's pedal was anything special or modded an any way. It just happened to have enough tolerance in the parts to be slightly less gains and have more headroom.
Anyone can get that kind of result by swapping the clipping diodes for one's with slightly higher forward voltage than stock.
Or just buy the Bluesprint
Mine is in the way.
Thanks so much for the support! 🚀🎸
2:54 ohhhhhh maudiii 🤣
😝🚀❤️
Hell yeah
🎸🚀❤️
The pedal pawn is a bit brighter, the tone could be dialed down a bit, or roll off the volume on the guitar. Otherwise great sound and drive.
BluesPrint definitely sounds the more 'Stevie' of the two
That’s awesome to hear, thanks so much for watching 🤠🎸
👍👍👍
🎸❤️🤠
great sound and beautiful production👍 but the sound is also in the fingers 🙌
Thanks so much, really appreciate it. And fingers first always 🎸🚀
Would be good for an SRV tribute band… I guess. 🤷♂️
I prefer the Bluesprint. Less noise !
Thanks a lot for the comment 🚀🎸
Not thanks at all but... Will it be for sale in the Netherlands too ? Can't find it anywhere. Thx !@@PedalPawn
@@Check-it-out really appreciate that. Right now, pretty much all of our dealers are sold out. However, please feel free to make a direct order as we do ship to the Netherlands with free express 2 day shipping! (there’s a small lead time stated on the website but we are working through orders as quickly as possible) ❤️
Blues’Print takes the win
Thanks so much mate 🤯🚀
vintage sounds softer and squishy. i like it more. yours a bit stiffer and clearer.
Totally, thanks for the comment & opinion 🔥
I prefer the Tube Screamer. The drummer in my band gave me one in the 80's. I still have it, but never liked it.
Sounds like a Boss BD-1
Ibanez is thicker.
I prefer your new version. Bit more hi-fi.
Thanks very much for the support 🚀
Hey…try a shoot out between The Duelist and your pedal…you’ve ripped it off after all.
The Duellist is great, it’s based on a TS & BB circuit (like a lot of other dual overdrives) 🚀
Everyone has something different to say because we are all different, every piece of gear brings something different to the table if you’re willing to spend the time, these are tools for playing music, I think we should focus more on making the best music we can with gear, if not, at least we should try and let people that actually play music be
@starchild6347 100% nailed it!
Who ripped off the TS once again and a Marshall Bluesbreaker... Lol
