Mary had a rough life overall; struggling to maintain power and fighting against the misogyny of the times. She also endured a lot of loss and pain. I was pleased for her, therefore, that she found peace and love in heaven. After struggling so long, and often on her own, she really needed that!

Reign Kilts weren't new, they didn't exist until the start of the 19th century. The philabeag didn't even exist yet. The closest thing to a kilt at that time was the belted-plaid, and that wasn't worn outside of the Highlands and North-Western islands.
John Carter to be accurate she would have had a French accent seeings she never actually spent much time in scottland . Remember she grew up in a French nunnery
