For everyone who is getting these/recently got these, it’s really not as bad as you think! All the other comments are saying how terrible they are, but once you have them for about a week (or even less) they just become a part of ur mouth and you can’t tell they’re there. I know your teeth won’t be able to touch, but the turbo bites can act as teeth and chew for you. Just remember, as bad as Turbo bites might seem at the moment, they’ll get better and they help speed up your teeth situation, the result will be worth it! I hope I helped 👍👍

I’ve had mine on for a little over a month and omg the first two weeks were the worst, my mouth was cut up I couldn’t chew bad lisp,, it was seriously terrible. But now I’m doing better. I’m glad these are put on for more than just helping the teeth not come into contact, they are going to help the bite which helped me stick through the pain. I can’t wait for this braces journey to be over with!!!

Don't worry it's not THAT bad. It took me 2-3 days to figure out how to "chew" with them. I was very frustrated first, but as soon as you get used to them it's okay. But I'm still going to celebrate the day they come off, hah

Before getting them on, you should know what you're getting yourself into as well as make sure that you're caring for yourself well during wearing them. These are a treatment and almost all treatments needs special care. It's not very hard to make sure you're hydrated as well as getting enough nutrition by eating soups are other soft foods.
Just got my braces and this one. I have a habit of bruxism, and while I was sleeping this thing hit my tooth which was undergoing root canal treatment. Ouch that hurts so much :)
I had the turbos that were made of some composite resin so it was like a mass placed on the last molars on top and bottom and was the absolute worst experience of my life. Even worse than having 3 impacted and hook-rooted wisdoms removed, while awake and only under local anesthesia!!! This shit was actually worse than that. So, I couldn't chew any food properly due to the bite being incomplete and so I was swallowing my food in huge uncomfortable chunks(almost needed Heimlich on multiple occasions). I had an awful and embarrassing lisp so speaking on the phone was brutal. Not to mention having a lisp while wearing covid masks made understanding me impossible. The fact that as humans we mentally and physically know when we have made a full and complete "bite" and I was unable to do that or feel like I made a complete bite was torture. When I wasn't wearing a mask and I spoke, I was spitting like Sylvester the fuckin cat!! AND.. sometimes a little droplet of drool would just come creeping out and land on my shirt. I hated this shit so much that I decided to take my buds mini Dremel tool and with the extender and the mini sander attachment, I sanded these mfs OFF!! It took a minute but I got em all off. After that I was just careful with how I was chewing and tried to eat softer foods, etc. My next ortho visit was awkward cuz I had to lie and tell my doc that they fell off. She had a puzzled look on her face and had the NERVE to put some new ones on me. I was squirming and my soul was crying! When I got home I sanded them bitches down too! Id rather have crooked teeth than deal with that. In the end it all worked out but I don't care what anyone else is saying, this isn't right to do to people. Use this as a torture technique in the military I promise they will give the deets!!!!

I decided to keep them because I just have a glimpse of hope that in a month in a half I can take this shit off.

If you do not consent to ANY part of a treatment plan, the medical profession MUST come up with an alternative or accept your instruction to remove or cease anything you as the patient do not consent to!
