I think we should let our kids make choices in life that's how they learn to be independent and think for themselves. You're a wonderful Mom! I love how you decorated your front porch. I love the smell of Christmas trees. Yes, we’ve decorated our porch. We have the same, or very similar, gingerbread house doormat. I go very nostalgic, colored lights on the tree in the family room. It reminds me of my childhood. In our dining room, we use the warm white lights. It is slightly more formal, but still nostalgic.
Beautiful decor and beautiful family ❤. I can't help you with the wearing of the pants or not wearing them during the cold winter days. My kids lost that battle 😊

You guys are the parents. She's a child who doesn't know what's good for her. She wears what you tell her, or she doesn't get to go to outings. We like to give our kids choices and let them make choices, but when it comes to certain things, they do as they're told.
Girl i have a 3 yr old and she doesnt wear clothes (other than her underwear)at all around the house. We always ask her if shes cold and she says no. Right now im inside freezer and she said shes not cold and no she hasnt gotten sick When we go out first its a struggle to get her dress, once we are out on the road anything triggers her she immediately gets in a mood where a lot of crying and trying to pull her clothes off. That always turns into a struggle.

In my experience, kids are impervious to cold. I remember being a kid and wearing a sweatshirt with shorts in the winter always.
