had a head on crash with a car at just 25mph, had some crazy headaches but that was it. Doctors said i would have 100% died if i wasnt wearing a helmet
If one person can see this and realize your loved ones suffer unimaginably because there is no comming back. I just want my son back. He had an accident eight days ago and it doesn't look good. All because he didn't put on a fucking helmet! Had he done so he would be alright. In the end the pavement dosen't give a shit about you, your family, your wife or your children. Think about them and don't be so absurdly selfish that you not only ruin your life but there's. It pisses me off that all this pain and suffering is caused by lack of using a simple helmet. Wtf!
Personally I’m 100% an ATGAT guy and wear much more than a helmet but I’m also very much for people to make their own choices so I’m really not for helmet laws simply because like someone in the video said. If they crash they’re the only one to die. I have same stance on seatbelts as well. However statistically for every 22 lives a seatbelt saves it ends up killing 1. Helmets well they save people and still to date can’t fine an example of a wearing helmet causing someone to die in motorcycle accident
@@thisstupid757 I understand what you are saying but if you die how many lives will it affect? If you think that your family dosen't care or appreciate you being in this life then you are sadly mistaken. We don't talk about how important one life is until it's too late. We take life for granted and if we are not careful may not be able to reverse the choices we make. I can tell you first hand, love your family because in the end they are the only ones that will be there to pick up the peices you leave behind.
It is seriously called freedom of decision and rights to choice. My way of protest is to not ware a seat belt and not ware a helmet. You don’t need to know what the fuck you are doing besides knowing you know what the fuck you are doing. If you need to ditch something then fucking ditch it in a way that you will not get hurt the bail roll is the best to ditch a ride sideways and leave the ride behind make sure you roll on your entire arm to save your wrist from breaking and your head from snapping off.

I dont wear a helmet and believe in no helmet laws. It's personal choice. We take risks everyday. How many fast food joints are there? How many people die a year from unhealthy eating and heart disease? Why are cigarettes legal? They cause lung cancer. Freedom to wear or not wear a helmet is personal choice just like smoking.
I agree with the freedom of choice, however, its one thing to talk about risks of getting in a motorcycle accident and risks of dying in a motorcycle accident. Wearing a helmet literally cuts the chances of you dying or having severe permanent brain injuries by 50%. Youre 37 times more likely to die in a motorcycle accident. I think anyone that doesn’t wear a helmet on a motorcycle is a complete idiot. Its darwinism at its best. But hey, you are right about one thing, it should be YOUR choice to ride without one. One of these days, something out of your control is going to knock you off the bike. I just got into a wreck a couple weeks ago whole going down the street, I wasnt even coming to a stop, some guy just passed 4 cars and pulled in front of the guy behind me, slammed the gas, and ran right into my back tire. It happened in one second. All I had time to do was get to the right side of the road. I tumbled about 3-400 feet and managed not to break anything and had minor road rash because I was wearing all my gear. Had I not worn any of it I might not be typing this right now. Dont think itll never happen to you, because statistically speaking, it will.
I am fed up of all this nanny state shit about why you must where a helmet for your own protection. If someone wants to ride their bike without a helmet, then that should be their choice. These countries that boast about being free and democratic yet have fascist laws in place are an absolute joke. Here in the UK, another country that likes to pride itself about being free and democratic when in reality it certainly ain't, you must wear a helmet if you want to ride a motorcycle, you must wear a seatbelt in a car or coach and now the fascist government are trying to make it compulsory to wear a helmet on a bicycle! . I believe in freedom of choice and not being told what is safe or unsafe for me by these overpaid bastard politicians!

@@akirosensei that's your opinion. Riding without a helmet is the most freest feeling ever. Thats what motorcycles are to me FREEDOM. If it's my time to go its my time to go. I could die with a helmet on just as easily. Motorcycle riders already don't have good chances even with a helmet on. I will never wear a helmet in my life. No greater feeling than the wind blowing through my hair while I'm jockey shifting my panhead down the rode. Riding a motorcycle is more to me than just buying a 2020 harley and buying a leather jacket with knee pads and all that shit. That's not a biker to Me. A real biker is a guy who builds his own bike. Specifically old harley or triumph choppers/bobbers. That's the era I am totally engrossed in. I build all my bikes and maintain all my bikes. And ride with men who are like minded. I feel there is a way closer bond to both man and bike than to those 2020 harley riders who spend 2k on leathers that don't even know how to change there oil and have a totally clean bike and leathers. All I need is what's on the back of my sissy bar and the brothers I have Riding with me down the rode. Nuff said. That's one of the many reasons I don't wear one.

I’m glad you guys showed everybody what can actually happen to you if you do survive the accident with no helmet. That poor man’s brain is destroyed and he will never ever get better.
Here in the philippines, they use scooters, and big bikes as well, and wearing a helmet, is strictly enforced, especially in the capital of manila. So even going nearby is not ideal to not wear a helmet. You get fined for no helmet, and even no slippers.
Should it be against the law to climb on a ladder that’s loose, or leave something on top of the ladder when climbing down?
Speaking of phones should it be required to have a phone case and screen protector since you might break your phone without them? Should it also be required to have a phone password since someone could successfully steal it without one?

Almost all accidents can be attributed to not sensing (seeing/hearing) the oncoming danger in time to react. Arguably, limiting ones ability to sense oncoming danger will cause more accidents.
I think it would be best if all the revenue generated from helmet laws went to motorcycle accident victims.
98% of traumatic brain injuries are caused by things other than motorcycle accidents. I propose federally mandating the waring of helmets by ALL people at ALL times. We can make TBI a thing of the past. Slip in the shower? Not a tragedy anymore. Fall off a chair, while changing that lightbulb? Maybe a trip to IKEA will be needed, but not lifetime care. Also, with mandated life jackets at all times, we could virtually remove drowning from the national fatalities statistics. Approximately thirty five times more kids drown in their parent's pool than are killed by their parent's gun...not that we shouldn't ban guns, of course - that's a given - but let's address the elephants in the rooms first.

If your overweight should there be a law on what kind of food and how much you should be allowed to eat? Riding a motorcycle helmet or not is inherently much more dangerous than riding on a bus. Should their be a law baning motorcycles? Scuba diving is dangerous why not ban that. Why not force everyone to wear a helmet anytime they drive or ride in a car? Race car drivers wear them right? My sister in law is a fatty. She stuffs her face with donuts and ice cream constantly but tells me I should not be allowed to ride a motorcycle they should be banned. I tell her in that case she is a walking heart attack and her donut and food overconsumption should be outlawed.

I have known people that rode motorcycles their whole life and never had a head injury due to wrecking their bikes. Reason is their accidents were very minor or they had no accidents. I wear a helmet depending on how I feel, where I'm riding, weather, if its too hot and I'm in stop and go traffic, etc, etc. I have seen people wreck their bikes because of fooling around with their helmet or their glasses because the helmet was Interfering with their glasses. I think an aggressive rider or say dare devil rider should wear a helmet at all times because chance of them being in a bad accident is greater then one who is a normal cautious rider. Some people don't ride in heavy traffic at all because of the risk of being in an accident so they may or may not wear helmet.
