Eren's new titan form has a lot of symbolism in it. With his hands spreading wide it can represent him being a puppet master controlling his puppets the Wall Titans. Eren's upper torso hanging out could reference The Hanged Man which suggests ultimate surrender, sacrifice, or being suspended in time.
Even better for that symbolism, he almost looks as if he is a giant animated puppet himself, a puppet to freedom, a puppet to the future, and a puppet to his own power - the power of the attack titan

Probably the biggest thing we can get out of this episode is that Eren isn't an emotionally stunted psychopath who doesn't care about the destruction he leaves behind in his way. The truth is he does care which makes it even worse for him. We already know just how much guilt Reiner carried for all the horrible things he did but that's nothing compared to what Eren's doing right now. What's even more horrifying is the implication that Eren wanted to do the Rumbling not just for the sake of Eldia or his friends but for reasons that are far more selfish. He was disappointed that the world was filled with people who hated his kind. Hell, the very fact that humanity exists outside the walls goes against his childhood dream of an empty world. Life beyond the walls was nothing like the world he had dreamed of, the one he had envisioned through Armin's book. Through the rumbling, he was able to achieve his childhood dream of being free but not without a cost. Eren has become so broken inside that he can't even enjoy the freedom that he so desperately yearned for all this time. So much so that he had to regress into a childlike state, clouded by judgement and completely oblivious to the horrors below him, to truly appreciate it. He was never able to accept the world he grew up in and thus his innocent dream mutated into something far more twisted and horrifying and the result is what we witnessed in front of our screens.

@@blueexorcist_ the rumbling was from chapter 131 and only showed like 2 panels that being of the head and one of people being crushed , everything else was anime only which was great
I keep forgetting Eren’s swallowed the war hammer titan and since he has connected paths with his brother due to the founding titan, he has the ability to manifest creatures as an attack, in this case Zeke. Since its a fused a titan Eren can manipulate the beast and its main weapon (the baseball throw). Create crystalised hardenings of baseball weapons so Zeke can throw them to the marleyan government/friends that are fighting to stop him.
Fun fact. If you listen carefully, The theme song Rumbling is for Eren's perspective while the the Song 'Under the Tree' where at the ending of the episode is for Mikasa's perspective. Also. There's a Confirm Multiverse in AOT in Anime and Manga where we can see a Goth Mikasa and Nerd Armin.
Erens final form looks like that because when he transformed there was only his head, and the creature that transformed Ymir took over. Also, the animal the centipede creature is based on can “only move forward” irl. Really cool detail.
For people that read the manga (this happened way before when Ymir first went into that tree, so no spoilers), the Founding Titan resembles the thing that Ymir found in the tree, and it's all meant to represent Nidhogg(r) from Norse mythology, that lived in the roots of Yggdrasil. Just a minor detail.
Wow, this looked good - in my opinion, movie-quality animation. This is why I don't get why people are complaining when they hear the final season is going to be multiple parts - this is what MAPPA can do when they have time to do their thing. This was a perfect episode. I don't care if you disliked the ending, this series will always be a masterpiece and this episode was perfect. 🙏
I entirely agree! Them taking their time is the best thing they could do for such an amazing series. This is the end of everyone's journey and MAPPA needs as much time and resources as they can get in order to make this a masterpiece-level ending. I was really excited to see how well they animated and rendered the art, there was so much detail in each frame. I can't wait to see what they do with their time in this last part

Fun fact: if you look closely at the map during the mini flashback with Eren and the Jeagerists, you can see that Marley is just Africa but upside-down. This shit is is taking place in "our" world.
Hange's final moments were so fire. She went out like a demon fam. I love that it ends with Armin asking that question bc its what I think about the most & the answer is harsh but kinda beautiful.

Firstly Props to Isayama for making the Rumbling so terrifying & Eren’s Titan symbolize humanity’s hatred both in anime n IRL…MAPPA did a good job on the animation n direction as well
I'm anime-only so idk if this is discussed in the manga later, but I do hope we get more insight into annie's thoughts & feelings whilst she was in the crystal, even if it was just a 2-minute scene. I'd hate it if they just glossed over her stay in the crystal & presented her struggle as mere "loneliness", when the real disturbing nature of it is how she was unable to move, see, speak, or eat. Also, I'd love it if we got a brief explanation of how it even kept her alive.
They actually don't talk about it in the Manga, sadly, BUT the anime, especially in this special, have added a bunch of new content, so hopefully, they talk about it 🤷♀️
I'm still a bit shaking, I delayed watching this due to university work. Hange death made me cry especially when she sees the rest again her scouting legion family. This was just insane, crazy. I'm happy watching and sad this wasn't longer. Almighty, this anime series I'll cherish forever. Thank you for this story.
The wildest shit here? Hange has only one eye, which means *no depth perception.* Imagine how raw you have to be to zip around like that when you cant' be sure how close or far anything is!
Was waiting for my favorite reactors to react to this, you guys always look at the subtleties and symbolism of everything y’all watch and that’s one of the reasons y’all are my fav
If you didn't notice, the things that the Beast Titan is throwing is the product of the War Hammer Titan's power. Even the Beast Titan is just a manifestation because of the War Hammer's power. That's why the Beast Titan is only black and white, not his usual colors, and why we can see he is connected to the bones of the Attack Titan.
What's even more messed up about the Ramzi scene with Eren is, Ramzi & his people speak a foreign language, so he didn't even understand what Eren was saying. That's why he was just sitting there asking "Why are you crying?" and Eren was OK with spilling out his heart to the kid.

The fact Levi just straight up said forget the fourth wall and said “I need some screen time” made me fall off the couch laughing 😂😂😂
Other reactors : "Noo.. Hange 😢😭😭"
These guys : 15:31
They really laughing their asses off, i'm done 🤣🤣
Eren is blocking their emotions
What's wrong with them being happy to see others together watching our guys?
MHA SPOILER
I will never forget how they laughed for about 3 minutes straight when midnight died. These guys are smt and else.
So funny how sherra is tearing up and the other 2 are just laughing their asses off 😂😂🤣
They didn’t show it in this video but in the full reaction she’s crying during Hanges reunion with Erwin while they’re laughing lol.
Bro 0:40 Sheera almost cut Lupa in half with that glare 😂
That huh from mikasa 9:18 got me weak😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😭😭😭😭
15:34 Miura in the background got me laughing and heartbroken at the same time 😂
Same 🤣🤣
only real og's recognised this edit
that was so dirty lmfao
That shit made my laugh and cry at the same time 😂😭
@@brunobucciarati4219 you should've been there too
23:50 always gives me chills, imagine how you'd feel as a member of the crowd on the cliff, having just seen your last hope get shredded by the beast titan instantly, accepting your impending doom, and then seeing a single plane break through the clouds and a flash of light in the distance. AoT will always be peak.
They did the manga justice man the added scenes were absalutly fire im acrually excited for part 2 now
What was the added scenes I don't remember 😭
@@blueexorcist_ The whole rumbling part in this special is like 80 or 90% anime original. Very creative.
@@blueexorcist_ the rumbling was from chapter 131 and only showed like 2 panels that being of the head and one of people being crushed , everything else was anime only which was great
I look forward to Pieck’s action sequence 🔥
they missed some parts from ch 134 that I think they're adding in part 2 as well
Everyone else: Crying over Hange
Roshi: predicts Erwin
Lupa: “I hate you”
🤣
THE EDITOR IS WRONG FOR THIS BROOOO 5:31 THEY WILDIN LMAO
I keep forgetting Eren’s swallowed the war hammer titan and since he has connected paths with his brother due to the founding titan, he has the ability to manifest creatures as an attack, in this case Zeke. Since its a fused a titan Eren can manipulate the beast and its main weapon (the baseball throw). Create crystalised hardenings of baseball weapons so Zeke can throw them to the marleyan government/friends that are fighting to stop him.
9:37 Levi: "I need some screen time" lmaooo editors are goated
5:38 I never get tired of lupa and sheera doing this
Fun fact. If you listen carefully,
The theme song Rumbling is for Eren's perspective while the the Song 'Under the Tree' where at the ending of the episode is for Mikasa's perspective.
Also.
There's a Confirm Multiverse in AOT in Anime and Manga where we can see a Goth Mikasa and Nerd Armin.
aoe time
Armin is a nerd
i hate that spinoff lol. Its so weird
There’s no AOE. AoT timeline is deterministic.
Erens final form looks like that because when he transformed there was only his head, and the creature that transformed Ymir took over. Also, the animal the centipede creature is based on can “only move forward” irl. Really cool detail.
Hange really went out in the coolest way possible. She single handedly killed multiple colossal titans. RIP Commander Hange🕊️💔
Omg so cool! Sliced some titan's that weren't even paying attention to her!
The most useless and worthless "commander" they've had that led to this.
Everyone except Eren got a buff. 😂😂
i disagree it will be cooler if wit do it . thats the coolest way possible .
Flock really is the 0.01% of germs that survives hand sanitizer 😂
The discord sound when Eren pulls them in to talk to them 😂
Levi's 'I need some screen time' edit was hilarious. Many thanks to the editor
Sheera going threw while roshi and lupa making jokes lol
7:17 I love how everyone, including Armin, just has the most concerned expression
Hange scene is so peak, Animation, song, directing etc.
Gawd dang i hope the last scene also use amazing CG and Blending it with 2D like that
For people that read the manga (this happened way before when Ymir first went into that tree, so no spoilers), the Founding Titan resembles the thing that Ymir found in the tree, and it's all meant to represent Nidhogg(r) from Norse mythology, that lived in the roots of Yggdrasil. Just a minor detail.
17:42 took me out. It caught me off guard and I was not expecting it.🤣🤣
The subtle edits y'all do are phenomenal. I love it. One of my all time fave reactors.
That "I need some screentime" from Levi tho.💀 I really love this editor. Goated.🤣
The little connected sound when they entered the paths made me chuckle. Man I love your editor.
Lupa: Did Hange say they don’t weight nothing?
Roshi: Tell that to the kid who got crushed.
“Yeah, it’s not heavy at all!”
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sawano's OSTs always hit different
Kotha Yamamoto is the composer, all old osts are rearranged and modified too.
@@simplyrohith2163 sure, all the tracks old or new are edited to fit the pacing of the visuals, but that's more-so the work of the sound director.
@@tearlach47 it's done by the guy in charge of composing. Like all the rearrangements and tuning. Sound directors don't participate in OST arrangements. But as you said they do the editing part well along with a separate team to edit
Kohta and Sawano
Fun fact: if you look closely at the map during the mini flashback with Eren and the Jeagerists, you can see that Marley is just Africa but upside-down.
This shit is is taking place in "our" world.
0:40 Sheera’s face 😂
Hange's final moments were so fire. She went out like a demon fam. I love that it ends with Armin asking that question bc its what I think about the most & the answer is harsh but kinda beautiful.
The editor is the real MVP bro 😂
I read the manga years ago and honestly, I no longer care to wait for the whole thing, watching your guys reaction is so much fun haha
5:31 Damn brother really went there thats dark humor at its finest ahahah
20:38 editor was cooking lmao that finger gun was hilarous
28:53 i cant stop laughing 😂
Reasons to never skip the end discussion!!
Same 😂 I had the same reaction too 😂
5:31 Secretly watching at work and this damn near made me howl across the office 💀
28:51
A deep enough bunker (20' 30'?) would probably work* BUT
1. No time to build it.
2. Your exit would be destroyed.
3. If you did get out... what would you eat? There's not even PLANTS left.
probably 1,000s took refuge in caves. and then starved.
Rest in Peace to the 14th commander of the Survey Corps, Hange Zöe 🥲
Firstly Props to Isayama for making the Rumbling so terrifying & Eren’s Titan symbolize humanity’s hatred both in anime n IRL…MAPPA did a good job on the animation n direction as well
I CANT STOP LAUGHING AT THIS PART MANNN @5:36
lol that's gonna add in the compilation of yams.
What a perfect cut
In sync 😂
I'm anime-only so idk if this is discussed in the manga later, but I do hope we get more insight into annie's thoughts & feelings whilst she was in the crystal, even if it was just a 2-minute scene. I'd hate it if they just glossed over her stay in the crystal & presented her struggle as mere "loneliness", when the real disturbing nature of it is how she was unable to move, see, speak, or eat. Also, I'd love it if we got a brief explanation of how it even kept her alive.
They actually don't talk about it in the Manga, sadly, BUT the anime, especially in this special, have added a bunch of new content, so hopefully, they talk about it 🤷♀️
They can do an OVA about it onr day. Who knows
Mikasa cuts of erens head
reiners transformation was so clean, easily my favorite one
I'm still a bit shaking, I delayed watching this due to university work. Hange death made me cry especially when she sees the rest again her scouting legion family. This was just insane, crazy. I'm happy watching and sad this wasn't longer. Almighty, this anime series I'll cherish forever. Thank you for this story.
6:30 "No trains, no planes, no... cars".
This man was a step away from greatness.
Don't get it
@@williamcruz9648 it was almost a ryhme
The wildest shit here? Hange has only one eye, which means *no depth perception.* Imagine how raw you have to be to zip around like that when you cant' be sure how close or far anything is!
Was waiting for my favorite reactors to react to this, you guys always look at the subtleties and symbolism of everything y’all watch and that’s one of the reasons y’all are my fav
I’m genuinely wondering what Lupa thinks a jackal looks like 😭 6:42
“I was just eating cereals and a big toe entered my kitchen” I died
If you didn't notice, the things that the Beast Titan is throwing is the product of the War Hammer Titan's power. Even the Beast Titan is just a manifestation because of the War Hammer's power. That's why the Beast Titan is only black and white, not his usual colors, and why we can see he is connected to the bones of the Attack Titan.
9:38 "I need some screen time" 😭😭😭💀💀💀
Bruh, they really nerfed my boy Levi to the fullest
What's even more messed up about the Ramzi scene with Eren is, Ramzi & his people speak a foreign language, so he didn't even understand what Eren was saying. That's why he was just sitting there asking "Why are you crying?" and Eren was OK with spilling out his heart to the kid.
I’ve never clicked on a reaction so fast! Thank you guys for not rushing and making sure you’re putting something great out there!!
Levi literally said I need screen time 💀
The editor went crazy😂
"Man you corny" the editor never fails us
seeing eren emotionally available for once this season was really refreshing . it made him seem like his old self was still there
The stuff that the Beast Titan was throwing at the ships was the crystal hardening constructs that Eren can make with the Warhammer Titans power.
Mappa popped off, the rumbling, the whole Hange scene they did an incredible job and gave those moments the justice the deserved
10:34 was that the Wakanda drums LMAO
Putting Levi’s sub as, “I need some screen time”, is so wrong😂😂😂
Ever since the attack on marley Floch and Hange were both clashing heads so it was poetic for them to take each other out, RIP to the king and queen.
I know for a fact Bertholdt rolling in his grave right now, watching Armin rizz up his crush
" I need some screen time " - Levi Ackerman 9:39
The Beast was throwing ammo created by the War Hammer's powers, so hardening not bones
