Today marks one year since losing my father, and this past year has been very difficult for me. I’ve been in and out of shelters but I’m happy to say that I’ll be getting my own apartment at the end of this month! @@V3ganBr33 I think it makes it worse to know you dont belong anywhere. Its painful, no words for that feeling. I am housed and I do feel this way but being homeless adds exhaustion, fear and possible illness to the mix. I never take my shelter for granted.

My brothers have lived on the streets for years from their own choices with drugs and alcohol. And mental illness, I have a hard time understanding it because I have issues also but choose to do things differently. I have battled with drugs and alcohol but have always kept a roof over my head and raised my children and took care of what needed to be done. Their lives was a lot easier than mine because they never had children to take care of. I believe they just gave up on life. I have helped the houseless for years because of my family situation. But did have to cut ties with my brothers when they robbed me and my children trying to help them and actually got physical with me when on drugs and tore my house up but I've never stopped having a heat for the houseless because everyone's story and situation is different. My brother pulled a gun on me and whipped me in the face with it. That day I understood the saying "you can pick your job, you can pick your friends, heck, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your family.

So I was saying the same thing about this channel to another friend of mine the other day & he told me that this guy/this group operates with their own money and by donations they receive. They raise awareness and bring humanity to the faceless homeless most people walk/drive past every day. I can see how this channel helps them on their mission. I don't believe they're trying to get some kind of pat on the back or credit for their charity.
All that being said, this is one of my pastimes and I would be embarrassed to try and put a camera in one of their faces. I've been in their place, years ago, and wouldn't have wanted a camera in my face. I don't want anyone to know what or where I give. That's between me and them. It's not for anyone else to know.

Hello, your videos have been inspiring me to give back to the homeless, today I had a hard day and prayed asking God for help, as I was walking I was led to a homeless couple that needed more help than I did, they asked me for some cookies and I asked if they wanted milk and they got so happy! I decided to get them a few essentials like you give your homeless neighbors! I got them wet wipes, chapstick, socks and a shirt and I wouldn’t of known to get those things without your video! I also got them water, fruit cups, milk, and cookies and I also wouldn’t have known to get those items if it wasn’t for your videos! Anyway I gave them two bags of things and they were so happy! The happiness filled my own soul and really inspired me to give back. I also through in a $4 Starbucks gift card I had in my wallet. I didn’t comment this for anyone to give me attention. I just want to share my happiness and the happiness of this homeless couple. ❤ Thank you Michael for inspiring me and teaching me what is useful for the homeless in need!

I was born and raised in tucson, I have 9children my husband was stationed at d.m a.f.b two of my children still live in Tucson one is homeless, I have tried to help him my other children won't let me even talk to him because I send him money, God bless you his name is Andrew if you happen to see him know that he is very much loved ❤️ I have been so worried 💔 but knowing that you are there helping, your a God sent thank you, God bless you.
The Pennsylvania accent doesn't go away. My mom and her siblings are from Carnegie. She's been down here since 1948 and still has her accent. She can go into a store and someone will tell her that she's from Pennsylvania.
Why is it that people from back East are such caring and friendly people.

The homeless guy in the tent I think was asking for silvadene which is an incredibly strong antibiotic using in hospitals and for serious wounds and people with MRSA. I've been homeless on and off for eleven years. Working now and off the streets. With a lot of help from people like you. Much 💕 Love!

Michael you have inspired me! I now volunteer 2 days a week at our church's Food Pantry and I relate to everyone I serve in my community. We are all in this earthly struggle together. It has changed my life to serve in this way and to receive food as well with gratitude.

Michael, it's not possible that you who are so kind & helpful, could ever jinx anyone!!! If someone believes this, just tell them you'll do a cleansing healing spell to remove bad energy. You've got to be creative (as you know) when dealing with people who have such beliefs. I'm sure you've a good sense of people with mental health issues, etc. Who knows what this person has gone through in the life of being house less! You're an angel. Not the devil. I think over the past two or three weeks I have watched every video on your channel. I really enjoy the time and compassion that you dedicate to these folks and I just wanted to say that you have been an inspiration. I have always enjoyed helping people and I recently moved to a city with a decent sized homeless population. Unfortunately, our city has made it illegal to camp (exist as a person) in all public spaces so they have the legal ability to remove these folks so they are a little harder for me to find. I went to dollar tree the other day and was able to put together four bags based on what I've watched you give to others on your channel with some food and hygiene products and plan to try to find some of the folks in my area to give them too. It's nothing nearly like what you are doing but I figure if everyone could give back just a little the world would be a lot better off. You may not see this comment because I was a little late to the party but I just wanted to say there are a lot of people that appreciate what you are doing and see the value!

Recovering drug addict - hats off to you for getting the first aid - no matter where I lived, or whom I partied with, I was always the only person who took cleanliness and puncture care seriously. Never had an abscess or a sore. Rigs weren’t my thing most of the time, but for a couple years they were. You’re the best sir

I am watching and I learn... I learn to be more patient, and less judgmental. I thought I was not judgmental, but I realize that I am in a way because it angers me when they do not show any gratitude... But I am wrong, Michael is 100% the real deal. His happiness comes from giving. Not from receiving thank you, gratitude, and praise.

White box, blue lettering... i hope he gets what he needs. if i could send some, i would. Its IMPORTANT to keep wounds and irritants clean on the streets... I havent watched the whole vid yet, so...

Hi Michael,
The silver wound care cream/gel is Silver Sulfadiazine.
It's technically a burn cream but works wonders on all wounds especially those that are difficult to heal and broken down skin.
You have to ask the pharmacist where it is, sometimes they keep it behind the counter. We used the prescription version, but there's a less potent over the counter version.
The hydrogel pads are called Silver Seal, Wal-Mart carries a Silvex Wound gel, etc. Amazon has many choices!

Goodness in People, Brother Michael! If, the homeless made you their Medical Proxy thru their insurance. You should be able to either pick-up their supplies from the store and or have it delivered to your P.O. Box and you deliver their Medical Supplies to them!
