I've been playing the NHL series yearly since NHL 12, but my roots can be dated back to NHL 94, NHL 2000, and the NHL Hitz series.

Kousa is actually one of the best offensive defenceman in Liiga, and after coming to HIFK this season the hopes are high. He plays lot of PP with best players of the league and is actually say that for 150k what he is now, he'd be bomb-sure 95+ ovr without injuries. Not outta this world even for him to reach the 99 ovr mark by the end of the year. And he was 81 un banner and now 83 so the 2 goals already upgraded him

Alex Nylander will be playing with Toews and Kane so I can see him getting to a 99

Weird that Mikko Kousa is shown on the banner as being an 81 overall. I pulled him from a pack and he's actually an 83 overall. This is good since the most amount of goals he's ever scored in any season of Liiga is 12. So it's possible he might do it again and become a 95 overall. He'd be a complete bust if he were actually an 81.
Or maybe EA decided to give him credit for those 2 goals he already scored and bumped him up to 83.
Yup that is exactly what it is.
Literally the only prospects that are actually making their NHL team’s are Zadina and Jokiharju, the rest are gonna get sent down and become useless

I didn't think these were related to real-life though, I'm happy with my 83 Jokiharju but he's not gonna score a lot in real life games

Would the 70 k untradeable Pack be worth it (fantasy hockey one)
James you get a gold collectible. You can send it to the Fantasy Hockey set. Check out if there is something that ypu like with it. (There should be one collectible sets too)

Al Chan press triangle on ps4 and Y on xbox on top of the 70k pack and you get the possibilities there bro

I pulled an untradeable Mikko Kousa in a normal pack. Sooo lucky
You can buy that 70k pack and you will get a fantasy player, gold collectible (use for prospect fantasy), plus all the stuff in the pack itself, I think that's a steal of a 70k pack if you are willing to wait
But it could be one of the shitty fantasy players and u waste 70k

Well I got lucky and pulled jokiharu and tolvanen, , but @unrealgaming it takes 1 goldncollectoble to trade in for a prospect fantasy in the sets, and you also get a guaranteed fantasy in the pack
You can get screwed over, but it seems like the probabilities are pretty good considering

nice breakdown . They should make it more accessible to participate in fantasy draft by lowering cost of entry or better pack probabilities. too expensive
They usually do, this one doesn't seem too accessible unfortunately. The fact that you still need to get another gold collectible (after doing all of the challenges for it) for a prospect card isn't great.

What Datsyuk 13 said. If they are tradeable, I recommend selling them. Maybe buy back when they are cheaper if you really want them.
When does the event start ?
It's already out! However, your players will only upgrade during the season which begins October 2nd.
EA NHL is dead to me. To much time needed to do F2P squad. I am sticking with NHL 19 and playing shitty franchise mode. Or hell I will go back to NHL 94 when the game was decent.
