Nice vid. I truly missed Jack Wattley when he was in New Jersey. I’m from NYC and two things I regret was not visiting Jack Wattley and Dr. Axelrod when he lived in NYC. CO2 dosing is just one nutrient of many needed to have a successful aquatic plant in your aquarium. I make my own fertilizer by mixing Mexican Red Clay and crushed Egg Shells into quarter sized wafers, which I bury every. 4 months into the substrate. I also add all three liquid ingredients that Aquarium Coop make into my water changes at different times. My plants

Perfecto! Thanks for the lesson! I got 1.5 bps on my 29 gallon. My pH checker went from dark navy to greenish blue. Yup, the water here is 8.2-8.4. I'm not sure I should let the pH change too much.

I've run this regulator for 2 years now and mostly love it, although it's the only one I've ever owned. Nice demo how to set up.
One thing to add, one thing to ask:
    - Check with your diffuser manufacturer before using oil in the counter. I have the CO2 Art Bazooka diffuser and they explicitly state not to use oil. The diffuser makes a beautiful mist of bubbles and I can see how oil forced into the stone would be a bad thing.
    - 5:40 those washers do indeed take flight and mine did some time ago. What's a suitable replacement? Currently I'm using teflon pipe dope but that's sloppy to work with.
    Thanks!

Jack Wattley Discus I don’t doubt that, I found this video by looking up regulators. Saw the one you were using and looked it up on amazon. Compared to any other regulator on amazing this things reviews are the worst. I don’t doubt that you have some that still work I’m sure other people do also. But that doesn’t negate the fact that the reviews on amazon are terrible and me knowing that information I’m not going to keep it to myself especially on a video for said product. The reviews don’t reflect badly on your knowledge, fish keeping skills or video making. It’s not your fault this has bad reviews but facts are the facts. Look it up on amazon and see for yourself
