They gathered evidence of all she’s gossiped about and all the lies she’s told the family. The family came together for a family meeting where op and Emily stood up and confronted Linda, and slowly more and more family members started speaking out about the hurtful lies and gossip Linda had been saying. This prompted op to start a group chat for those family members and family friends who were affected by Linda doing this. After a little while it was found out that Linda not only made up hurtful stories and gossip; but she was also financially hurting others. She would claim she needed money for “medical emergencies” but obviously use it for something else. Once the family all finally realised just how badly Linda was affecting them they started to cut her off socially, financially and some cases just completely cut out of their lives. Linda kept trying to post on her Facebook about how she’s the victim and she kept trying to get friends support but since they knew she was in the wrong they didn’t fuel the drama fire. She ended up sending out a half-a$$ed apology but nobody really cared and even her husband and daughter stood up to her and left her.
Family loyalty comes first? If that were true wouldn't the aunt in question be loyal to her family instead of trying her best to tear family members to pieces?

Gossip isn’t just being part of a family. Gossip is intentional cruelty and shows the gossiper to be a person that enjoys making others feel pain.
