I love how it turned out. I'm in a similar dilemma with a buffet. The top and legs are being stained similar to yours and I don't know if I want to paint it in bayberry or sacred sage or a mixture of both. I've been agonising over it until I saw you paint different sides different colours and thought "now why didn't I just think of that!". You're very welcome for the gift. It's thanks to you and a few others that I follow that I have the confidence to undertake repairing and giving a new life to a few pieces and who knows where that will take me when I'm finished doing my own few bits. So if I can buy you something of your wish list now and again to say thank you - well it's a small price to pay for what you have done for me. To instil confidence in someone who's confidence was non existent thanks to some traumas is no mean feat and I'm eternally grateful for that. I love that you went with no hardware on the doors. Great idea on the little push thingies you used. Well done girl. You never cease to amaze me. (And yes, you got my name close enough)
For an extra large size piece, it has a very cozy feel. The stain & paint colors are beautiful together. Great call on eliminating the door hardware. I love it!🌷🌷
Angie, no one does staining as well as you do! From picking the color & application to choosing the paint colors to compliment the stain ( or vise- versa ) it's so inspiring. Keep up the great work! Blessings...
Beautiful. Thanks for taking us through the Quest for Paint Color - it helps me work through that stuff without feeling hopeless. I used to think real wood should never be painted, but you've converted me. It's like putting the right frame on an art piece - the unpainted wood really pops!
New look, new life. Excellent! Loving the wood paint combo refinishing idea. Good color, it is soft enough not to smack you in the face. The darker wood contrasting with the lighter paint color compliments as they show one another off.
My Wife and I have started upcycling furniture together. We love getting tips and ideas from your videos! Thank you. P.s. You and Andrea make our hearts so happy 👭🏼❤
I just picked up the sister dresser to this piece at the goodwill for $29. It’s sitting in my barn waiting for some love! I love the two tone and the magnetic latches was a good call on the cabinets! Thanks for the inspo!! 😍
I keep saying that this is my favorite piece each time you create a new look for an old drab piece. She is so beautiful. It doesn't even look the same. Thanks for showing Andrea's efforts. It helps. 😍❤❤
Love the combo colour of Fusion Mineral paint mix you used to get that midtone green. Your attention to detail from cleaning, stripping, sanding, painting and reusing the felt(!) sets your art and work apart. You've made a piece someone else will love for years.
Your original olive green you had on this piece reminded me of an old set of bathroom towels we were given for our wedding in 1978. Loved them then and would hate them now. Love the paint color you ended up choosing and I knew you would. You have a terrific eye for this. Thank you.
Love that you are so meticulous that you did the extra work in the drawer liners and dividers and think the final colour really complements the wood grain. I kind of liked the old hardware, but the whole piece is really revved up. Another lovely job.
I was watching and as you showed the two colors of the green, I was so hoping that you would combine them!!! And you did!!! Talk about instant gratification, although from your side, it wasn't an instant process!!! I love how you showed touching up the hardware, I never considered that before.
Thank you thank you for the close-up of your stripping of the wood. I am one of those people that is frightened of that process. My late husband used to do all of this stuff and I wasn’t paying enough attention when he was doing it. Thank you for the close up in the suggestions I’m trying to get up the nerve to do a very very very very small stepstool. Please stay safe and God bless you and yours!♥️🌹
When you said you weren’t happy with your first color choice and showed the second I immediately thought mix the two for a blend. And the blend came out fantastic. I like the finish piece you came up with. Nice looking job.
Everything piece of furnitures you have done is perfect no matter what you have done. I love them all; they are all my inspirations. Thank you for sharing.
I was thinking about how I anticipate your signature reveal music! Beautifully done, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who overthinks the colors at times.
Angie, You never disappoint! I love vintage pieces and you knocked this out of the ballpark. I love the paint color you went with. I wasn’t a fan of the light color. 👍👍👍
Everytime I watch your channel I say how happy I am when you save a beautiful treasure from the landfill ❤️ All your color choices are spot-on 👍 You have great talent and taste!! Thank you for another wonderful video 🙂
Love the stain and painted look. Love that paint color! I'm glad you didn't put the door pulls on. It looks good with out them. A great looking piece! Thanks for sharing the process.
Again, you seem to have outdone yourself and created something so beautiful. The final color combination you came up with was so pleasing to see. Have a wonderful week, Angie.
I am obsessed with your videos! Absolutely love how you handle each piece and the care you take as you work through each step. You have created wonderful pieces that will be cherished .
I am always so thrilled to see when you post a new video because I know I will learn something. That was really strange seeing the first paint color change to a completely different color in different light. WOW!! Love the final color. And I found watching a newbie strip finish, under your supervision, to be very useful.
This is one of the only two-tone paint jobs I've ever liked. It looks like a chocolate-dipped pistachio ice cream and I mean that in the best way possible. Amazing as always!
I love the combination of wood and that beautiful green color,,,you will have no trouble selling it

that final paint color choice is perfect!
Thank you!

Your work is not only beautiful but has me rethinking on how to do combination wood & paint together on a piece!!
I appreciate you showing a first timer stripping the sealer! The final product is lovely. The mix of the two paints just felt right :)
The refresh in the interior takes this piece to a whole new level. It all looks brand new.
I'm so glad you like it!
Angie, no one does staining as well as you do! From picking the color & application to choosing the paint colors to compliment the stain ( or vise- versa ) it's so inspiring. Keep up the great work! Blessings...
I wish everyone knew how to make such an awesome video. Your voice over technique is great.
My favorite is when you do the stain and paint combo! The color you created is beautiful and your work is phenomenal!
Wowzer. She’s so elegant and classy. I’m glad you opted for no hardware on the doors.
Beautiful. Thanks for taking us through the Quest for Paint Color - it helps me work through that stuff without feeling hopeless.

Good call Andrea! I like the two colors mixed together! Very elegant piece!

I actually lived in Calgary for 3 years in my early/mid 20s :-)

Wow! This piece speaks to my heart! The perfect balance of dark top and green bottom, and boy, is that shade of green unbelievably gorgeous!

This is flippin’ incredible. It might even be my favorite piece so far. I liked the original blue color but that final mixture nailed it. Fantastic.
It is so beautiful to see you restore and bring furniture back to life!!
Love that you are so meticulous that you did the extra work in the drawer liners and dividers and think the final colour really complements the wood grain. I kind of liked the old hardware, but the whole piece is really revved up. Another lovely job.
Yay, more inspiration for me! I have a buffet I plan to refinish.
Beautiful. I love the paint wood combo. And leaving the door handles off gave it a updated look.
Hard to believe how beautiful this turned out.
Wow
Love that stain, so luxurious.
I was watching and as you showed the two colors of the green, I was so hoping that you would combine them!!! And you did!!! Talk about instant gratification, although from your side, it wasn't an instant process!!! I love how you showed touching up the hardware, I never considered that before.
That colour is awesome, and goes well with the top.
