In two minutes and 14 seconds you told me more than five other videos did in an hour plus! Thanks!
Glad I could help!
Thanks for the tip, although I despise people that can play with insulation without gloves.
np lol. Insulation never bothered me
Could you show how to make a Y shaped split to add a vent to another room
Thank you and that is what I need to remove the bad section and replace with the new section and join the two. Fun times up in the attic in the near future
Have fun!
Great video
Thanks!
a year later and still helping with your video

You need a zip ties and mastic and tape . That won’t hold over time.
definitely need straps and tape
Ty bro you hooked me up.
Glad I could help
Thanks for the video. Don't you have to seal the duct on the connector piece with tie wraps, mastic, or at least HVAC tape?
Yes you do
Nice!!!🤙💞🤙
Thanks Mike
np
Does the size of the connector/splicer have to be the same size as the hvac flexible duct size?
yes
Thanks
Welcome
How do o split a 10” flexible A/c attic duct so it goes to 3 rooms? What is that called as I don’t even know what to search for? Thanks
Wye
What if I didn’t tuck insulation? What if it was exposed and I still connected it?
might get wet
Mastic. You need Mastic to seal the flex and metal together. That will fall apart.
Tape and strap will last much longer than mastic
