- The best disc golf course in each state. We always talk about how the best courses compare to each other, but what I wanted to do in this video was compare the best course in every single state to each other. Check it out and see where your state lands.

I live in northern Alabama in Decatur... about 30 minutes to huntsville... we have so many courses within an hour drive... and we have the second oldest course in the world..

My buddy aced that hole pictured for Blue Ribbon Pines. The course is pretty flat but so beautiful landscaped. And a perfect mix of long short left right open wooded... I'm surprised you didn't show the signature hole 4 for the picture.
Flip City #4, an amazing course. The beauty of the course, the layout, just being there gives you excitement. I shot +9 on my birthday trip up there and loved every minute of it. 24 glorious holes.
Hot take. The Diavolo is not the best course in NC. Sure feel, look, design, beauty are all top tier, like literally maybe the best in the state but imo it’s not a pro level course, and I just think the pro level layouts are more interesting. It’s just a lot more on the easy side. More for beginners and ams.
But you have Hornets nest, Eastway, North Cove, Killborn, Bradford, Rolling Pines, Buckhorn, Nevin, Torma Town, Angry Beaver, Casey R. Logan. And many others I didn’t list. There’s just a lot of other courses out there with more challenging/interesting layouts. The Diavolo is incredible though. NC truly is one of the best states for disc golf. Not to mention Winthrop is 30 minutes from Charlotte, and Socastee is in Wilmington (which is considered by man as NC area lol)
I will say it with ease. Overheated!!! Garbage design. Only a few holes worth really playing on the front. Elevated basket's ' concrete barricade crush and run greens😭. The same shot over and over and over. Designed for the backhand. Nothing really impressive about the course. By far the back nine is 💯 times better than the front. And the last 2 holes are fun. Almost at the car. Save your gas , play local. I would like to give a shout-out to all the volunteers , thank you.. And for those dragging the pond to find a disc. Thank you killing the eco system. Pond life doesn't matter just someone else's disc does. !!
no kidding, charlotte area is loaded. And not far at all from top disc golf courses in SC. Few hour drive from WR jackson top course in GA as well

Number 9, Milo McIver state park. I live about an hour from it and I try to get up there as much as I can. The only "negative" that I can say about it is that it doesn't have the "WOW" factor on any particular hole, beauty wise that is. We have a couple of courses in Oregon that really pull down on that jaw when you play them. However, Milo requires you to know how to throw every single disc golf shot imaginable. Short holes, long holes, low ceilings, rollers, big turnovers, putter shots, the list goes on. Truly remarkable, and I invite any and all to come to this beautiful course.
Playing Lakeview this Saturday. Can't wait. It's an hour north of Pittsburgh. This area is full of great courses. Deer lakes, knob hill, Lakeview, North boundary, and even Schenley Park (right in the city, near pitt campus).
Just played it yesterday for the first time while in PItt for work. It was a lot of fun. Blue Tees, E thru 17. Took a 7 on 18 after a tree hit, a basket hit rolled ob, chain out. It was so frustrating!!!
@@Ember2remember awesome. It's a great course and a beautiful park. If you're in the area again try Deer Lakes, Knob Hill, North Boundary. Also Schenley for a short course right in the city. Really nice new course was just cut at Monroeville community park as well. No tee pads there yet, but it's a great track.
North Boundary Park just hosted a Silver Series event a couple ago. So excited to see the tour back in the area. NBP will put your cardio to the test!
Excited to see Illinois ranked in the top 5. Sadly, I haven't played in a few years. I might have to get back out there and check out some of these places.
wildcat let’s go wildcat is the #1disc golf course in Iowa 25 minutes away from where I live… I have 5 courses in my county alone the longest one away is 15 min maybe 10 min away 😂 sry we are a little spoiled here in the Midwest

I just wrapped up an RV tour of most of the country... played a few courses in every state we went to. I got so many top 5 courses played but only like 2 of the courses on this #1 list. I was expecting to see more courses I have played.
How did Montana get both #50 and #37?

Brother you gotta check out Caliber in Idaho. AWOL is a blast, I play it very often, but you would be doing yourself a severe disservice not looking into Caliber, it's just north of AWOL.
I live about 10-15 away from Fort Tuthill in flagstaff Az (36). And I completely agree, I’ve played a lot of courses in AZ and the only one that could compete is Watson Lake in Prescott.
Montana is 50 & 37, don't know what state you missed though

You left out the one state where I’m from and have Montana in there twice… Dry creek is in Wyoming, blue mountain is in Montana, you had them both in Montana..cool video though!

I’ve learned to play disc golf at Blue Ribbon Pines and it’s a joy
That course in Hawaii is shockingly low. Maybe because it’s on the small island and doesn’t get much play but it was by far the best course I’ve ever played. I’ve played de la as well and I don’t think it should be that much lower but oh well
Gotta add Puerto Rico to the list. Playa Lucia is pretty stunning.
I live in Montana and the best one in the state is Dry Creek Parkway? It should be Wilderness Club or Blue Mountain. I have never even played at Dry Creek Parkway.
Ive played alot of great California courses, but for me Waller Dgc will always be my favorite.
I love wellsprings at cedarock in NC. It's my favorite course!

#50 Dry Creek Parkway is Wyoming not Montana
I haven’t been to flip city in michigan, but toboggan is better in my opinion, toboggan is beautiful and an amazing course, along with there being 2 other beautiful courses at the same park

The UDisc list is broken, it should have sub categories, like best free courses, best private courses, only because private or pay to play course's are going to be #1 cause they have the money to make it great

What course is better in DE?
Blue Mountain, MT should be top 25 at least. It's a world class course that suffers from the fact it's in the middle of nowhere and its semiprofessional difficulty. Anyone who disputes that who isn't a top level pro had best make it known what top level pro they are. I've been all across the US, currently in the Seattle metro, and not a single course in the area comes even close.
Yea, there are pro level difficulty level courses in the Seattle metro, but they are nothing compared to blue. If I could throw 500 on flat ground, I'd crush them. Blue demands you shape lines and work through forest all while demanding 400ft of accuracy. Blue mountain deserves a top 25 spot at least. I've seen so much of what discgolf across the country has to offer, and its dog balls compared to blue.

Alright I’ll be the first to say it. Flip city is overrated. It’s a great course, but is it really one of the top 5 in the country? Probably not.

Probably too new? Harmony Bends has been highly rated for a while so there's a lotta data on it. Eagles Crossing will do better when there's more data on it I suspect.
