Winter walk at Chapman State Park

Indian Head Maryland.
Chapman State Park is a lovely mostly undeveloped park with shore access on the tidal Potomac River. Known for Mt Aventine House, and its extensive horse barns and fields, the park land is slowly reclaiming the barns and out buildings. The magnificent house needs help. Please consider joining the Friends of CSP if you enjoy a walk here occasionally.
