if you would build your kit with anything less, its hard to compete in pvps and itd be more profitable to go in with squire gear instead, but 1500 is not that much gold at all, a couple normals games could get you that

Yes 1500 is very cheap for a pvp kit. if you are not confident with spending that much money no worries, just keep playing with with grey stuff until get used to the game more and get better

What does hydra life drain scale off of? Is it magical power? If so, what is the reason for the vampirism perk?

any kind of magic damage really, for some reason vampirism also scales with life drain so its a good perk to have, basically for almost any warlock build you wanna be running antimagic and vampirism, the other 2 depend on your build
