Dream Theater “Best of Times” Guitar Solo on Electric Violin (JLynn & The Violution)

I’m not quite sure how to put into words how magnificent and uplifting this solo has been for me to learn, record and perform, even clocking in at over three minutes!
I did some research on the story behind the song and learned that ‪@MikePortnoyDT1‬ wrote it as a tribute to his father Howard, and he was able to play it for him before he passed from cancer. What a beautiful gift to share with a loved one.
From what I understand, the song has never been performed live.
