You gotta be f _ _ _ 'in kidding me! This piece is Top Drawer! This has got to be the BEST Vader available! Oh wow! I've watched this 3 times and I must watch it again! Is this still available to order? I have been a Star Wars fanatic 'since 1977. The detail down to the smallest wrinkle IS Vader from Empire. What an awesome addition to a kick-ass collection!
Yes it is my Friend, hands down thee Best Vader...some will say Mythos but for me it's this right here. The Detail, Sculpt and Presence of this piece is Superb. The Light-Up Features are a bit of a pain in the A$$
I have however modded him so that all Light-Ups turn on with one Switch...as he is now hooked up with to a USB
I hope you get him someday...he's very sought after now though

Man he looks great! Only issue I have is the fabric cape, wish it was sculpted instead. Fabric capes are so stupid, I mean what are you supposed to do when they tear or rip or just get worn/faded over time?!?

Great looking statue and you got it at such a good price. The only thing that stops it from getting a 10 out of 10 is the way you have to remove certain items from the statue to turn them on and its a sculpted cloak. If only the lights was controlled by one switch. Thanks for sharing

I don't own any star war statues but iron studios did a great job with this one. Plus with all the extra display options you cant go wrong with adding him to any collection.
Amazing piece but I still like the Mythos Vader a bit more mostly based on the concept of it. This Iron Studios piece is definitely the best movie representation of Vader. Thanks for the review.
No doubt the best Darth Vader piece out there. And pretty hard to get as well. This is definitely on my wish list to obtain someday.

I have the PF version that is currently on sideshow (the cheaper one) and I’m 50/50 on it. It’s kinda cheaply made for the 515$ I paid. But it’s not terrible enough to sell.

This is a really good statue made by Iron Studios and I agree with you that this is the best 1/4 scale Darth Vader out there a lot better looking than the Sideshows Lord Of The Sith Premium format as that one had a cheap feeling about it, like the cape and just the overall look of it just didn't feel premium to me. This one has the better quality cape and just looks better overall . The only thing I liked about the Sideshows version it has a light up base.
What about the Rogue One Vader from Sideshow? To me that is the best vader statue
@@drjinx2934 yeah I forgot about that one it's good too but I don't like the pose on that one, it's like Vader is throwing a baseball the way he is holding the lightsaber.
@@stoned466 lol I see what you mean. Yea I guess it does kinda have a funny look to it but still I find it pretty badass cuz of the scene from the movie. Still debating wether or not I should pre order tho

I own close to 20 quarter scale Star Wars statues and this one is one of my favorites. An exceptional piece. Congrats on it! I'm guessing it will be a long time until we see a better Vader.

C3PO and R2-D2 on Tatooine - iconic look for these two and so very detailed
Scout Trooper - great all around
Snowtrooper - great all around
Yoda by MYC Sculptures - hard to find but fantastic!
Jawa and Gonk by MYC Sculptures - also hard to find but fantastic!
Emperor - you already have
IS Vader - you already have
Chewie - you already have
Grand Moff Tarkin - just perfection in almost every way!
Rey - very underrated, great likeness, mixed media, museum pose and cool EX version.
Kylo Ren - massive piece, great mixed media, sculpt, huge presence.
Slave Leia EX - the statue has an iconic look plus the EX gives you a whole other 2nd awesome statue!
XM Luke - fantastic all around
Great pieces with some minor flaw(s):
Jedi Luke - arguably best Luke likeness and amazing mixed media but the pose is hit or miss
Sandtrooper - superb statue but skinny legs
Boba Fett ROTJ - solid statue with great museum pose but again... skinny legs
Bespin Luke - better than most think it is but the likeness is hit or miss and some odd choices were made with this piece.
I don't collect prequels or expanded universe so I'm not the best person to review those but there are a lot of great pieces there. Also there are some some more very good pieces that I either don't have or have never had any experience with. :)

I grew up in the Star Wars era but did not get into it as much as others. I wont be buying any star wars stuff but that's a really cool piece,.
