Honestly the idea of there not being a plot for this film is kinda fine by me because it kept things fun and just laid back. Every first day of summer I always watch this movie. Also, I love that this movie happens all in one day, everyone did so much.
Especially when your friend can hand out exotic European sports cars as stocking stuffers. Can't remember if it was Spade or Rock, but pretty sure I remember one saying Sandler likes to do that. His version of a to-go bag as a thank you😀😀😀
Yeah I always said Grownups always looked like a reunion between friends or like summer camp or something. It feels like the cast and crew all had a good time the entire time.

I felt so upset and the grown ups cast was so supportive and caring and helped out with his family. Adam sandler gets his family and wife in pretty much most films he does, he knew people like drew Barrymore and Jennifer Anniston before his wife but he adores his wife so much.

Also the scene with the dance recital teacher at the school was hilarious 😂

I think Grown ups in a way is a tribute to Adam's entire friendlist, as the title implies it's about growing up, and one of the things that shaped everyone's lives from Adam to Chris Rock, Terry, and etc. is the fact that they hit extreme lows in their lives and together they found a way to move past all the insecurities and frustrations in life, growing old together and seeing where it all leads. It's especially heartwarming when you take into consideration how much of a scar Chris Farley's death left on Adam and his friends that he's been there for their lows; Adam took a shot on Drew because she was seen as a lost cause during the time and Adam seeing her recover and triumphantly move on in life inspired him and hired her and that's when they became a legendary duo in romcom, He's been there for David Spade when his sister died, he's been there with Chris Rock accepting him and giving roles that he wasn't able to do back in SNL, Jennifer Aniston through her lows he kept being in touch and supporting her, Norm, Pete Davidson, Rob Schneider, Steve The Boosch...etc. the man lost a close friend and decided throughout his life to make them his familt and to always be there for them... it's inspiring honestly.
I love both of these movies, i love watching them especially in the summer. Also because you were wondering Yes Taylor Lautner did his own stunts he is a black belt in Karate and won a fair amount of junior world championships.

I actually liked this movie. Most of the scenes made me laugh. Especially the gym scene, I was like "Hey! Kate Hudson's brother!"
