    My version is built and ready to go, playing my first game Thursday night! One question for you tho, would you run Fellwar Stone or Quirion Explorer? They are the same thing but one is an elf that synergizes and the other is a mana rock that I could sol ring into on turn one, Im torn between the 2😬

      I’d run the Quirion Explorer for the synergy personally. I don’t necessarily care about rushing my mana out as soon as possible because it’s a good way to paint a target on your own forehead.

      Ok, Ive asked 2 people and youve both said Explorer so Explorer it is! Thanks!

      tbf, with Voja you might have a target painted anyway. but I also I would run quirion because you might need to have a higher density of creatures with this deck

    I think that this will be the most popular commander from this deck and have some explosive games

    I love the Voja. Small point of feedback. If you are asking for casual gameplay, you might want to get crypt, ancient tomb out of the deck. Maybe it makes it too explosive for casual pots? I don’t know the modo-meta that well.

      Everyone plays Crypt in casual games.

      @@tribalkai Interesting, that makes MODO very different from paper Commander in that regard. Very/ultra fast mana (aside from Sol Ring), especially if coupled with efficient tutors, makes decks immediately appear "not casual" (unless it's an obvious meme deck like "hat tribal" or "chair tribal".

      this isn't paper you might as well be asking him to remove sol ring or command tower

      It definitely the modo meta to have the strong cards as they are much cheaper and are necessary to allow the content to demarcate an actual game

    I've been in the middle of building this deck as well. I'm looking forward to seeing what you did with yours 😁

    Good job taking down that kraum/vial smasher deck it was a cedh deck but vial smasher isnt considered that good anymore. Zur was actually the bigger threat,I thought that was pretty funny.

    • @tribalkai
      @tribalkai  11 місяців тому

      It did seem cEDH. Was surprised to see that deck outside of a cEDH game.

    • @xXCigarXx
      @xXCigarXx 11 місяців тому

      @@tribalkai funny thing about cedh decks is that they are tuned so heavily for their own meta they actually arent very good in regular games where they cant quicky assemble a combo. Lower power decks tend to win with an accumulation of resources...and cedh decks are built primarily for speed and efficient interaction...but that isnt very good in a game where noone is really playing game ending cards. The guy was probably new to cedh and built that off a online decklist and was attempting to pilot it for practice. People borderline get angry sometimes in cedh if you dont understand how to pilot your deck.

    Voja is so scary. The ward 3 is so huge.

      Ward is overlooked so much,Ive been working on a Ghyrson Starn cedh list and his ward 2 has been a huge part of helping keep him on the board.

    That Vial Smasher looks like a 1v1 list, so competitive but probably not cEDH by strictist definitions - I wouldn't've called it casual though.

      not like Voja is anywhere close to casual . if he sticks to the board he is max a 2 turn kill . frikin monster that is

    Not a great showing from Duskana, as it’s a little slower but can go a lot of directions from hate to rebel/eq tribal , so very fun to build/play

    I think having ranked leagues would balance the game play. Then beginners and those who quit games will be matched, advanced players and stronger decks can be matched, then more competitive players and decks can compete.

    I usually prefer saying what power level I want, rather than something like "casual". Many people consider casual to be different things, and I've honestly never found it to be a very good descriptor anyways, because unless you're in a tournament, it's ALL casual. Every cEDH game I've ever watched/played has been casual. The word casual itself doesn't REALLY say anything about power level.
    But if you say low-power or high-power, it's harder to mix those up. Nobody is gonna pack Mana Crypt and Force of Will and still try to claim they're low power, even though they may still be casual, ya know? Of course, nothing is PERFECT, you'll still get some variance, but I find low and high power levels tend to be more helpful than just saying casual. In my own experience anyways, which is NOT on MTGO, so... who knows. MTGO goobers might be more of a coin flip :p

    For a second I thought you did 17000 damage out of nowhere in game one
