From first impressions, this looks so fun. I've been playing around with the character creator and levelling info they've already released, and I think this has potential to be one of the best systems for balancing accessibility and depth I've played in terms of all the talent trees linked to Heroic Paths and Radiant Paths, without even getting into the wider Cosmere worlds and potential worldhopper talent diversity. It's modular character creation that allows you to make something so unique. I feel like it's the thing I've been craving for years in the TTRPG space as someone who likes the interaction between PC narrative and crunchy impactful systems. I can't wait to playtest and get my hands on all the books to see how it feels up and running. Such an exciting time to be alive and into TTRPGs, hopefully Brandon and Brotherwise use their powers for good in the industry!
Similar question. I'm wanting to do a Reshi/Natan character build. I was imagining brown skin with an almost iridescent blue hue in the correct light...but maybe the blue hue isn't a dominant trait or presents differently.
This isn't really answering my biggest questions about adapting the cultures of Roshar to a game system. None of my friends who I would run this game for have read the Stormlight Archive, nor any of Brandon's books. So as I've reviewed the playtest document and thought about how I would run this game for them, my biggest conundrum has been how to facilitate my friends being able to play in this utterly alien world without needing them to read a huge volume.
There will be guidelines in the books. Its really about easing them into it. Just start playing the main stoneward adventure and tell them bits and pieces when they ask questions and when it seems relevant.
I think it’s definitely doable. You could introduce concepts in the same way the books do. I can think of many people who know nothing about dnd and are still able to play and enjoy while learning about the wold
Its tithing time huh, Russell M Nelson waddling in to say if you want that nice second annointing and become a god with mutliple wives, daddy needs money for that nice legal hotline to tell bishops to protect PDF files.

Just finished Rythm of War. It's my favorite book in the series!
Lydia is the best!
9 bots and the adonalsium guy. Adonalsium truly has abandoned us.
Damn I’ve been demoted to bot, not even a Doug anymore
Adonalsium will remember our plight, eventually
Can’t wait for the world hopper guide. I want to play a sentient object, like nightblood
I never thought about that. You just opened my brain to so so much
YOU CAN GET A RYSHADIUM?!?!?
Adoooonalsium
Don’t take the lord’s name in vain!
What would the child of an Iriali and Natan couple look like?

I've wanted to play a character that's half Unkalaki and half Iriali!
Blue + metallic gold? Metallic green?
A golden person with blue veins (I.e. Babatharnum)
Maybe blue skin with metallic gold marbling, similar to the Singers? With the white hair with shades or flecks of gold?

How tall is Adam? I didn't know I needed to know this until I saw this video.
Excuse me ms bots, this is a Christian fantasy channel, not a lewd fantasy channel.
I missed the "bots" part and thought you were talking about Lydia not covering her "safe hand" lol
Wow, I'm not sure which is more annoying, the bot attack or the adonalsium dude.
Some red flags in her answers 😬
What do you mean?
How?
Yeah
I'm sorry they are not to your perfection
Literally none lol

Are you ok?
The church has 100 billion in one investment account. The 10% of sandersons take will not even be noticed.
I'd LOVE to play this...but you need friends, so....🥲
I'll be your friend
