@@kvitravn666 It's pre-alpha. The devs put big warnings up telling folks to only buy it if they want to support development. I think people are expecting WAY too much too fast from a really small studio. I played for a month when it first released and had fun and now I'm just letting it cook for a year. Seems like they're making great progress. It's already less buggy than some games that have been out for many years and looks way better, so I still think it's promising. I'm just doing other stuff while they work on it.

Idea: Let us buy a GPS Tracker (they are already in the game) and once I put into my gear (Backpack, Platecarrier etc) it shows the location on the map and I can find my stuff once I have been killed :)
I love how you guys have done the NVGs here! The closest I've seen this done are mods for STALKER and Tarkov as Corey alluded to, so it's awesome to see it actually implemented in the game!

Not mindless bots that are easily exploitable(like in 99% of first person shooters)... not exactly something that's been done a lot just saying. Key phrase here is "trying" not "they've done it" or are claiming that they've done it. Yes they're still broken but the game is far from half baked.

Yes I think they need a lot more attachment options in general too. Like for every type of foregrip, pistol grip, stock there is a few options but not that much variety and that’s also mainly in consideration of the M4 while other guns might have hardly any variety.

Can you make the kill boss missions to be cooperative goal? So if we are 3 people we don't have to kill the enemy 3 times? (sometimes more because friends kills them again)
Make any quest at all while done in a group share progress, as long as your body (dead or alive) is in close enough proximity (like in the same town or whatever).
I agree with this, but I'd make it a proximity thing. That way some sweat can't just join a squad and kill the guy while you're at the main base. Make it so if you're within the AO when a squad mate kills him, you get credit but you're also in as much danger as the rest of the squad

13:03 PVS14 aren't this blurry and grained. Different tubes perform better or worse, but the mil-spec I used was super clear on winter nights or cloudless summer nights if you have them dialled in. The tube gets grainy and has flashing specs because there is so little light that you can actually see the mechanics of the tube, the chemical reaction inside travelling in small fibres and since the tube absorbs light through individual fibres (of different wear and quality) and chemically scales the light, it will appear bright specs or fibres with to little light compared to the rest. Making the NVG look grainy and have random specs, kinda of how it looks when you walk in a really dark area, the optics don't have enough particles to be seen. Since PVS14 isn't this painful to use, it's not the best but it is not that bad either at enhancing light. I don't 100% the mechanics of NVGS but enough to kinda know how it works, I might be technically wrong at something but still current PVS14 which is up to US standards (aka not the best) should be better than this, the graininess and specs could be used as a mechanic in the game to tell you there isn't enough ambient light so switch to white or an IR flood to gain better visibility, like in the bunker. But it's really good incorporated and more realistic than 99% of the games and NVGS is a superpower like it is in most games.

hmm I really hope this update solves the issue of helicopter wait times however again I feel disappointed it's coming so late it's one of the primary issues stopping people playing so it feels like it should be a quicker/smaller update to resolve the issue. Thats said I'm sceptical about it solving the issue, lets say I was previously waiting 8 mins even halving that time to arrive at a location with fully dead AI (unless I've missed something I've not seen a fix for this) is too long. If the time is reduced and I'm almost guaranteed a populated/fresh environment that might be OK
Having the heli spawn closer will greatly reduce wait times. Also a huge balance to being farther away from your FoB. Probably cut arrival times in half or more.
Understand where you coming from but I rather AI not spawn back any faster then they do now, length of time it takes to fight your way into Fort Narith or MS especially solo takes sooo long and uses so much ammo, that if you shorten then respawn time anymore than it is now, you may not make it back out alive cause everyone will be alive on the way back out again... as for you saying they took too long to bring the next big update, I don't see how, they are right on schedule with what they announced....big updates are 6 months apart with smaller hot fixes in between those big content updates. So no one should have been looking for a big content update before October or November if they keep true to their schedule. Yes I would like it to be quicker than 6 months but I can't be upset if they keep to their announced schedule of 6 months between big content updates because they've kept true to their word.
Afa NVGs are concerned it's impossible to accurately simulate NVGs with 100% realism so I hope the devs decide on balancing the realism versus enjoyment side of the game - otherwise the limited focal depth for NVGs and scopes will make them a lot less practical or useful and make night missions a lot less enjoyable particularly on very dark nights. I'm not suggesting dumbing down the realism - just finding a good balance of practicality versus realism. Hopefully AIs night vision will be based on ambient light levels - and they will rely more on sound location and will most likely be a lot less accurate - unless they have NVGs obviously.

It’s a breath of fresh air that these devs actually listen to their players. It’s very rare nowadays. I’ve seen great games come to EA just to have the devs not to listen to a single player about any issues and then go ask why their game is dead. Keep up the great work devs. And please never stop learning and listening to your players.
nvg's look amazing. Hate playing games and nvg's just light up the entire map. As soon as these nvg's came on screen I thought of the pvs-14's. I love the detail of how everything up close is completely out of focus. Very good work.
@@mountainmonkey15passive aiming through your optic with NOD’s is done all the time. I do it myself. It’s especially important if you are fighting against other people with nightvision capabilities that can see your IR Laser as well
This is the best representation I have seen of nvgs. You're never gonna get perfect with the depth perception but this is damn close. Please do not dumb it down when people complain because it's not the green filtered gamma increase bs they are used to

This new update looks fantastic!!! I played Tarkov for years and loved it, but I don't see myself going back especially with this game scratching that itch and even being better in a lot of ways. The one thing I do miss from Tarkov was night time with NVG and this is going to be so much fun.

Here is something to help with getting into zone is getting a larger chopper to pick up and fly to a random spot in a POI zone fast rope in. And for the starter town convoy in and out to save birds from being wasted on that
This update looks phenomenal! I am salivating over Night Ops and I'm looking forward to the wipe. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I'll say it again - I love this game!
I still think the best thing for the helis is being able to pick where you infil and then instead of land you fast rope down to the ground so you can pick a random spot in the jungle and fast rope through the trees and then the existing lzs is where you exfill
I hope they will make it possible to support them even more. Clothes Skins, weapon skins and that stuff. Nothing crazy make it fit the realism. I hope they plan to make loot matter more also :)
Man I'm so happy to see progress in this game! I can't wait for 0.2. I had an absolute blas with the build we currently have. Only one thing, I hope we have an easy key to put/remove our headset or (more on a budget) earplugs and it stays in the slot with a On/Off Indicator
I love the day/night cycle concept, I just REALLY hope it doesn't cycle too fast. Give us long days and long nights. I also like the idea of having a visible clock, but it would be cool to hold a button and your character looks down at their watch.
You guys did a great job! You will have a awesome game on release, I have no doubt about that. I'm already having a lot of fun with the gameplay, despite the hard AI.
I really have been enjoying this game I hope we can come through with the optimization with the future updates. I can’t believe the player base has fallen off so hard but I think once things are in place and runs well people hopefully come back, This game is awesome.
Very happy some issues will be addressed, and the additions sound very cool if implemented. However, the largest issue for me personally is the chopper wait times. I have patience, but I can't justify sitting 5+ minutes (I've had upwards of 15 minute waits) plus flight time in a game doing nothing. It's an absolute game killer for me. its then compounded by the AI aimbot which often sends you back to HQ to wait all over again. I can suffer the AI some with strats, but that chopper wait is what keeps me from diving completely into this game.
minimum effort in order to drive away the remaining 1600 peak weekend playercount. (800-900 daily) so they can run away with all of the money. id be surprised if they dont pull the plug before June of next year.
I would love to see a maintenance meter added for each upper (or bolt carrier group if they add them to the game) that you'd have to occasionally use gun oil or a weapons cleaning kit to replenish, along with a durability/wear meter for each gun. The way it would work is; as long as the maintenance meter is at least somewhat filled and your gun is maintained, then the durability of each firearm would hardly go down at all and the gun would last for a REALLY long time, but if you let the maintenance meter fall to 0% by not oiling/cleaning your gun after firing so many rounds, then the durability meter would start to go down a lot faster because your gun isn't clean/oiled. And once the durability meter gets below 40-50% it would start to induce malfunctions, and the lower it gets, the higher chance of inducing a malfunction causing you to have to take a few seconds to clear it which would be stressful during combat. For example, if you let the Maintenance meter drop to 0% by not cleaning/oiling it, and you keep firing that gun until the Durability gets down to 15-20%, then it would start to malfunction a lot more often. If the Durability meter gets down to 0%, then the upper/BCG would break causing you to have to replace it. The gun oil & cleaning kits would only replenish the maintenance meter, never the durability meter. The only way to raise the durability meter is by replacing parts, which is why it would highly encourage players to maintain their weapons to prevent wear.
One of the other issues that a lot of players are facing is having all three factions playing on the same server as you. That creates issues with completing tasks. Any 'kill the commander' or other dedicated tasks have taken me numerous days and multiple server switches just to complete.
How about in addition to keys, you could add shotgun breaching rounds that work on weaker locked doors. But to balance it out, you wouldn't be able to put full size shotguns in most backpacks, only a shorty shotgun which is less effective at range. That way, if you bring a full size shotgun like a Benelli M4 (which I hope you add), you can't put it in 99% of the backpacks, you'd instead be encouraged to use that shotgun for your mission and bring multiple shotgun loads, either that or physically drop the shotgun to switch to a rifle mid mission. Maybe have one specific backpack that CAN store a full size shotgun, but can only be unlocked at a level 3 vendor.
Good stuff. This is AWESOME. I switched over to Tarkov just because I beat everything and did everything Grayzone had to offer. I will be back. Grauzone is too good to not play
I really like how Ghost Recon: Wildlands does the day night/night sequence when it comes to enemy activity. There was a clear difference. You could tell when they were about to go to bed and wake up by their daily activities. Pretty cool. I really like this game but the AI were too powerful. I don't have any friends to play with, so solo ain't no joke. Still, a good game.
Maybe a thing to add in the game is the option to delete messages, I have a ton of short conversations with people, very annoying that I can't delete any (:

Looks like an awesome update, a for players can deal with low ambient light could maybe be Chem lights as a throwable, visual and ir that can be used to cast a light in the area. Visually they don't have to much light and ir has no visual light but under nods they do have a lot of light so maybe an idea.
These NVGs are amazing. Other games are falling behind. For the next feature, I personally would like an actual ATAK on-character that you can look down and interact with instead of the map interface we have currently.
I don't care whatever people might be saying, y'all are doing a great job with this game and with keeping the community informed, don't think I've ever seen a AAA studio do any of what you guys are doing for the gaming community, and I've been alive through all of it starting with Pong so that's saying something about y'all. As a night owl myself I'm looking forward to the night ops!
Great game! Loved playing the heck out of it when early access first started. I think a big update to bring players back in is a great idea, but I think if you haven’t already that you need to set yourselves up to be able to drop moderate amounts of content in fast succession there after to really get this game kickin again. Similar to star citizen and the first descendant, not like what I’m seeing hunt showdown do as they dropped a great big update but their momentum thereafter is seemingly absent and I really like that game too but that lack of momentum is going to hurt them imo.
I must say I expected the night to be somehow a bit better looking, maybe the streetlights to pop more in the dark, I don't know, I can imagine a more realistic-looking night. The night vision looks very cool tho. I hope the update will be fun
Keep this game alive. It's definitely worth it and one of the best extraction games I've played.

I agree with this, I say as long as your playing as a group and your on the same tasks it should complete it for the whole squad

Here is something to help with getting into zone is getting a larger chopper to pick up and fly to a random spot in a POI zone fast rope in. And for the starter town convoy in and out to save birds from being wasted on that
love the direction this is going in. realism is important imo. I like the night vision direction.

I still think the best thing for the helis is being able to pick where you infil and then instead of land you fast rope down to the ground so you can pick a random spot in the jungle and fast rope through the trees and then the existing lzs is where you exfill

I hope they will make it possible to support them even more. Clothes Skins, weapon skins and that stuff. Nothing crazy make it fit the realism. I hope they plan to make loot matter more also :)
Man I'm so happy to see progress in this game! I can't wait for 0.2. I had an absolute blas with the build we currently have. Only one thing, I hope we have an easy key to put/remove our headset or (more on a budget) earplugs and it stays in the slot with a On/Off Indicator
I absolutely adore this game, only game that has captured my attention since Tarkov and Arma
I love the day/night cycle concept, I just REALLY hope it doesn't cycle too fast. Give us long days and long nights. I also like the idea of having a visible clock, but it would be cool to hold a button and your character looks down at their watch.

I really have been enjoying this game I hope we can come through with the optimization with the future updates. I can’t believe the player base has fallen off so hard but I think once things are in place and runs well people hopefully come back, This game is awesome.
Very happy some issues will be addressed, and the additions sound very cool if implemented. However, the largest issue for me personally is the chopper wait times. I have patience, but I can't justify sitting 5+ minutes (I've had upwards of 15 minute waits) plus flight time in a game doing nothing. It's an absolute game killer for me. its then compounded by the AI aimbot which often sends you back to HQ to wait all over again. I can suffer the AI some with strats, but that chopper wait is what keeps me from diving completely into this game.

I would love to see a maintenance meter added for each upper (or bolt carrier group if they add them to the game) that you'd have to occasionally use gun oil or a weapons cleaning kit to replenish, along with a durability/wear meter for each gun. The way it would work is; as long as the maintenance meter is at least somewhat filled and your gun is maintained, then the durability of each firearm would hardly go down at all and the gun would last for a REALLY long time, but if you let the maintenance meter fall to 0% by not oiling/cleaning your gun after firing so many rounds, then the durability meter would start to go down a lot faster because your gun isn't clean/oiled. And once the durability meter gets below 40-50% it would start to induce malfunctions, and the lower it gets, the higher chance of inducing a malfunction causing you to have to take a few seconds to clear it which would be stressful during combat. For example, if you let the Maintenance meter drop to 0% by not cleaning/oiling it, and you keep firing that gun until the Durability gets down to 15-20%, then it would start to malfunction a lot more often. If the Durability meter gets down to 0%, then the upper/BCG would break causing you to have to replace it. The gun oil & cleaning kits would only replenish the maintenance meter, never the durability meter. The only way to raise the durability meter is by replacing parts, which is why it would highly encourage players to maintain their weapons to prevent wear.

One of the other issues that a lot of players are facing is having all three factions playing on the same server as you. That creates issues with completing tasks. Any 'kill the commander' or other dedicated tasks have taken me numerous days and multiple server switches just to complete.
On the main screen you can select the 'Joint Operations' mode that's purely PvE with no other factions.

How about in addition to keys, you could add shotgun breaching rounds that work on weaker locked doors. But to balance it out, you wouldn't be able to put full size shotguns in most backpacks, only a shorty shotgun which is less effective at range. That way, if you bring a full size shotgun like a Benelli M4 (which I hope you add), you can't put it in 99% of the backpacks, you'd instead be encouraged to use that shotgun for your mission and bring multiple shotgun loads, either that or physically drop the shotgun to switch to a rifle mid mission. Maybe have one specific backpack that CAN store a full size shotgun, but can only be unlocked at a level 3 vendor.

I really like how Ghost Recon: Wildlands does the day night/night sequence when it comes to enemy activity. There was a clear difference. You could tell when they were about to go to bed and wake up by their daily activities. Pretty cool. I really like this game but the AI were too powerful. I don't have any friends to play with, so solo ain't no joke. Still, a good game.
need the option to rename wallets so we know what keys are in it! same for backpacks etc

Looks like an awesome update, a for players can deal with low ambient light could maybe be Chem lights as a throwable, visual and ir that can be used to cast a light in the area. Visually they don't have to much light and ir has no visual light but under nods they do have a lot of light so maybe an idea.
NODs and flash lights look awesome! And yes make a good loot table
These NVGs are amazing. Other games are falling behind. For the next feature, I personally would like an actual ATAK on-character that you can look down and interact with instead of the map interface we have currently.

Great game! Loved playing the heck out of it when early access first started. I think a big update to bring players back in is a great idea, but I think if you haven’t already that you need to set yourselves up to be able to drop moderate amounts of content in fast succession there after to really get this game kickin again. Similar to star citizen and the first descendant, not like what I’m seeing hunt showdown do as they dropped a great big update but their momentum thereafter is seemingly absent and I really like that game too but that lack of momentum is going to hurt them imo.

The barrel shadow from the tac light is goofy. Just move your flashlight up a little more on your rail and that no longer is an issue.
I must say I expected the night to be somehow a bit better looking, maybe the streetlights to pop more in the dark, I don't know, I can imagine a more realistic-looking night. The night vision looks very cool tho. I hope the update will be fun
they said they were playing a early build so I suppose they were and still are working on it
