A lot of UA-camrs got free Zager guitars apparently, cause their reviews are all over and not a one has had the experience I did, with a guitar SO BAD I had to return it. Their site is like propaganda, they're not honest about where their guitars are made. They claim "Denny" checks out every guitar in his Nebraska shop, but $1,000 got me a far east-built guitar with high action and a buzzing open B string, shipped from "Zager International" in Nevada. I guess if you drink the Zager Kool-Aid you think they're the greatest. I CAN'T LEAVE A REVIEW ON THEIR SITE because they have no provision to do so. What's that tell you? Don't drink the Kool-Aid for a guitar you need to explain and justify. For the same money, you could own a real Martin, Gibson or Taylor.
This was many moons ago before I stopped drinking the Zager Kool-aid lol. More stuff came out and online after I made this video saying the company wasn’t being fully truthful in where their guitars were made. I’ve always enjoyed their guitars for the price, never had an issue.
It's Zay-ger just so you know. I have a few Zager guitars and I think they are FANTASTIC. The guy below is butthurt for some reason, but who cares....he provides nothing but his opinion and you know the old saying about opinions.
I am thinking of buying the ZAD 912 string CE tobacco Sunburst, are there playability good, I have some tailors, and I would love for you to compare. Is this Guitar‘s have low action easy to play? Please comment.
@@moisesperez4605 Zager sends their guitars out already setup for playability. I have 3 other Taylor acoustics and it took quite a bit to make their playability match my Zager 900CE. I can only compare 6 strings because I don't have a 12 string Zager.
They are NOT made in Lincoln Nebraska, they are Indonesian imports. Remove the Zager label inside the guitar and it will reveal anpother made in Indonesia label.
True, I've discovered too. They are no honest about it and the sound is not there for the cost. Maybe it's worth 1/4 th of what they're asking for their "easy play" so called innovation... SCAM all day, Run while you can
I've been emailing back and forth with Zager and cannot get a straight answer on where they are made. I was told they are built in Nebraska and I replied I can buy a Chinese guitar kit and build it at my house but I would not claim built in Maryland. They came back wioth they source their parts from many countries, still implying they are made here. I highly doubt they do anything oother than a set up with new strings.
What is made in the USA that is better than elsewhere ? Nothing anymore… I have this guitar as well as a Martin d42, d28 modern deluxe, 2 Taylor’s incl a 714ce and I play my Zager more than all the others combined. I don’t care WHERE it was made, it plays better than all the rest. I love my Cadillac but my Lexus drives better…
@@t-bone3657 I am thinking of buying the ZAD 912 string CE tobacco Sunburst, I have two Taylor guitars. Their play ability is very good, does this guitar have very good easy play ability on the fretboard, low action, please comment. as well as my Taylor’s thank you. 2:45

It's ignorance and believing their lies, but spending 4 times the cost of what this guitar would actually be worth ... if you compare it directly to an Epiphone IBG, or Cort All-Solid Gold, Alvarez, Recording King and others that build over the ocean

Pretty shitty thing to say.

Should have gotten a Furch, dude. You would be playing something.
There's no link in your description
What are you asking for it ?
It sold a long time ago, I can’t remember the exact price I want to say $1500
@@jerrysguitarshop that is a very good sounding guitar! It is probably worth that much!
Doesn't sound that great to me!
It's sound is thin and dead compared to other similar guitars, even cheaper ones
I think it's what he recorded it with. It didn't sound good at all and if I were Zager I'd be upset
If you aren't familiar with Zager guitars, you pronounce the name as ZAAA-ger.
Zayyyyger
Sounds awful. Made in Indonesia, by the way.

That thing sounds very buzzy, thin and no bottom end. I'll pass.
