    the fully loaded trim for the cx9 is probably the best in its segment in terms of aesthetic.

    Miss ventilated seats during the hot summer?
    How dark does the cabin feel w/out any pano roof option?

    • @jonathanyarkony9219
      @jonathanyarkony9219 7 років тому

      Yeah, I was really wishing I had those ventilated seats. I don't mind not having a Pano roof. The red seats and the wood trim are so good that it doesn't feel drab or cheap, and that matter more to me how brightly lit the interior is. Plus, my wife always just closes the shade anyway, so it rarely matter show big the sunroof is in cars we drive.

    I would like to see off-road capability of this vehicle and sandunes but I couldn't find. one with the latest cx9 2017 :(

      Rajesh J Mazda doesn't advertise the CX 9 for off road use..it's more for family an city use but will hold its own if the road gets rough since its AWD. I been driving the company 2018 for 6 months now and I really enjoy how it drives and handles corners I don't recommend buying it if your looking for an off road SUV though.

    One of the nicest looking full-size crossovers, but it's no substitute for the Mazda6 wagon sold in other markets. (Look it up, its gorgeous.)

    4 months is long-term? Even a German car would still work well after that amount of time. I was expecting at least 1 year. Long-term should be 3+ years IMHO.

    • @MOTILAC
      @MOTILAC 6 років тому +5

      No one caress with video review of a car 3+ years old. Up to 1 year is fine, never older. 4 months is perfect when reviewing a car for potential buyers.

      If you want reliability figures, look at the brands 5 year history. In the 2000s, Mazdas were rebadged Fords that rusted before 100k and never had the Mazda DNA that made them unique in the 80s and 90s. In the past 6 years, they've improved drastically and seem very reliable with their new platforms. They return to their extremely fun-to-drive dynamics even in their SUVs and bring back the design that everybody loved about Mazda. Ford really fucked them up as they did with a lot of other brands like Jaguar and Volvo but they are all on a roll now and hopefully they start getting more attention from customers soon.

    Think it's about time Mazda should build a V6 and make it an option all across their lineup (including even the 3). They'd be kicking so much ass performancewise and I'd personally rather go with a bigger engine than a turbo, especially on a daily (and possibly roadtripping) driver...

    I bought my 2016 CX-9 new 14 months ago. Last week the below zero weather hit here in Indiana and it has decided to stop running.. Mazda roadside towed to the dealers where it has been for 2 weeks now and they cannot get it going. It has 11,035 miles on it. Yesterday they sent overnight the PCM to Mazda to try and figure it out since the new one Mazda sent did not fix it. The tell me Mazda will get it figured out.Regretting the purchase right now

    There is a tremendous issue popping up nowadays among the automotive critics while trying to evaluate and test SUVs. The driving dynamics is not the main priority in choosing a car in this segment. The main points are the comfort, space and amenities, especially when you use this car for hauling people or family transportation. if I was looking for driving dynamics, I would consider a 2-door-coupe or even a sport sedan, not an SUV.

    • @ocramidajzj
      @ocramidajzj 7 років тому +15

      Safaa Sabeeh it really depends on what you're looking for. To make a blanket statement like that is short sighted. Mazda is not looking to build just another product. They are trying to differentiate themselves from the mass market. They have tried competing against larger companies by building me too products and failed. This new strategy makes more sense IMO. Ultimately if you're looking for a cookie cutter SUV, then Toyota and Honda is the way to go. If you enjoy cars and driving but also want something with SUV practicality then Mazda is the way to go IMO.

    • @DiwaGalvez
      @DiwaGalvez 7 років тому

      Safaa Sabeeh Yoi agreed with you there. Take a look at how the CX-3 sacrifices legroom for the 2nd row passengers. Yes, it's far better to drive than an HR-V or Trax, but you could fit more with the latter two

    • @ocramidajzj
      @ocramidajzj 7 років тому +5

      Diwa Galvez with all due respect go buy a Toyota, Honda or some other refrigerator. It's like complaining that Ben and Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie isn't just plain chocolate, or yogurt. Seriously, while yogurt maybe more practical with respect to reduced weight gain, it tastes like watered down ice-cream and is no fun at all. IMO

    • @Josh-179
      @Josh-179 7 років тому +5

      Safaa Sabeeh, then why does Porsche, Jaguar, and others build SUV's? Because why not have an SUV that serves your utility needs but is also enjoyable to drive? This something you could be driving for 150,000 miles, don't you want to enjoy the ride? The CX-9 has plenty of comfort, space, and amenities while also looking great and driving great. Not everyone with a family wants a boring box.

      Waseem Sells yeah you need to delete all those old impressions. The new Mazda, after Ford, is an entirely different animal. Do some research on Skyactiv and you'll get the picture.
