On this video I explained how a Circuit Tester works and I used it to test car fuses. Call it a Test Light if you want.

Thank you so much!! I bought one to try and figure out what's wrong with my car, and didn't even know how to use it. I searched and searched and no one ever explained what the tester should have been connected too. For many who work on cars I am sure it's common knowledge/sense but for someone who knows nothing this was awesome! Thank you!!!!
Good to know it helped you.

I'm a 66 yrs young great grandma , Thank You for your video. It is very well explained , easy to follow , exactly what I was looking for. Very appreciated.
Oh Thank You !¡!¡ I now know where to ground.🥵
I'm a professional interior/exterior home/ house painter. I can tell you almost everything about painting but when it comes to cars I know nothing I thought the circuit tester and a light tester was two different things until I watch your video I appreciate it thanks man
Brilliant straight to the point . You should make video of how to use a multimeter specially for people who don’t know how, every other Tutor expects you to know all the Symbols and functions they don’t bother to explain because they assume you must know all that or are just stupid
Thanks for the feedback.
Hey man, thanks for the video, even though its a few years old, its still very educational, and it helps a lot of people to DIY instead of going to some mechanics to get it their problems fixed for more money than needed
Thank You!
Another very helpful video from Welking Vue. I received a 6/12 volt circuit tester as a Christmas gift. You helped me learn how to use it in the most practical way, which is testing fuses. My son is still driving his 2001 Camry. You helped me change the ATF fluid in the main fluid compartment and the differential compartment. His 2001 Camry has been a great first car for him. Good to see you again, Welking.
Thanks for sharing your story. Have a Happy New Year.
Light testers have incandescent bulbs or LED‘s ( light emitting diodes ) . It take very low voltage to illuminate an LED . Some LED test lights are polarity sensitive .
Thank you for the instruction video and showing us how. I've never used this before and needed to be sure. Thanks for not just explaining, but also visually showing the testing and the understandable explanations.
Thank You Martin I appreciate your comment.
That 'wire' is the hood cable release. And that bolt on the plastic tab of the headlight isn't a good ground source. Better to clamp it to the chassis or the negative terminal on the battery.
You didn't have to start your car to turn the lights on... you just had to twist forward one click for utilities
LOL....jesus christ, youtube just keeps bringing out master-mechanics!
Appreciate you making this video. It definitely helped in my situation
Good to know. Thanks for sharing.
Great video. Very helpful. Thank you
Riveting.....I could watch this for hourszzzzzzzzzzzzz
Thanks for making this video! it was easy to follow with good explanation. Go Honda!
Thank You!
Nice video. Hope you're doing more.

good video to learn the basics and save money
Thank you sir! Loved your video. Installed my first dash cam to a circuit!
😅😅p😅I have 😮990😮😅p😅0😅😅😅0😅
Jacob. I used a tester and one side of the fuse lit I found the airbag fuse 10 amp
Superior job on this video. Im new at this. Excellent
Hey thx. I was looking for a nice shirt vid for my students and this one is perfect. .
Awesome thanks that sounds good.
For example im trying to connect led lights on my car doors can I use this tester to know which wire has energy and which has not ?
If a wire has power and you touch it the bulb will light up. Keep in mind there are power wire with constant power and without constant power.
Thanks great job explaining you me alot of money
Very good video. Simple and informative
Truly a great video
Thanks for this!! Big help!
The real Mccoy
In my blazer fuse box I have some big fuses can I check those the same way I don't know if those are called fuses too 🙄
They're called relays
Thank you very much, useful information :)
You are welcome!
I have a question
Why you don't use the battery for the check?
I'm not sure what you are asking. It's just checking fuse to see if there's power.
Thank you my brother for the video
Wow. Thank you so much. You are great for making this video. So helpful....
Thank You and good luck on whatever you do.
Thank you for the info I needed!
thank you so much .great video
great video
i dont need to conect to the minus battery?to the ground?
It the light on the tester is blinking what does it mean?
Thank you. Very useful video. Helped me out alot
Glad you find it useful.
Good video sir but you need not to be nervous nothing to be just be you I will subscribe 😉I don't mean disrespect
Maybe I was nervous, but I know the way I talk wasn't really automatic cause I was thinking at the same time if the correct words are being given out. I wanted to make sure I only give out useful words and not extra confusing information. I think I wanted to hurry up and finish the video too at the time might have been a combination of a lot of things going on lol.
Very good video! Like Spock says primitive yet effective♡♡♡
I drive big truck fuse went blew out lights on truck and all trailer lights I'm gonna get one thx
Anyone have a link to replace the bulb on the tester he is using?
You can buy a new tester at harbor freight for 3.29. Just bought one yesterday.
So it’s more accurate when the car is on and all light then doing the testing ?
I did this video a while back I don't remember all that I say or did. I'm about 100% sure I didn't mention the car needs to be on to get accurate testing. About turning the car on and off I thought I explained the reason behind it.
Awesome video! Hoping this fixes my cars issues.
Good luck!
Please make more videos of your honda. Thanks.
Thank You
Thanks for the information brother.
Some fuse work only with the car on key
Very informative. Thank you.
Hello I am trying to test my fuses. But I have no idea how to use the fuse tester. What do you attach the other end too. You do not show that also what do you acutally touch the point to I could not tell if you were touching the fuse plastic are the side of the fuse. my light is not coming on to any of them that is why I am asking. Does the car have to be on to check fuses and what do I attached the other end of the fuse tester too does it have to be metal? do you touch the pointer to the plastic of the fuse I am a woman and don't make fun at least I am trying to fix my own car radio My radio quit the clock is on but the radio is dead. no light no nothing. I know where the the audio is on my 2009 Sonata I cannot pull out the yellow audio fuses. I pinched the yellow part together but only one side comes out and I cannot get the other side out it is like it is stuck. I am afraid I am gonna break the plastic if I keep trying to pull out the yellow plastic fuse holder. Would a parts place come out and help me you think. ??
what about brass ones?
Great video!!
Great job explaining this!
Thank you!

Thank you so much for your video, Mr. Welking Vue.
pro tip: watch movies on Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Landen Nixon yea, I've been watching on Flixzone} for months myself :)
@Landen Nixon yea, been watching on Flixzone} for years myself =)
Thanks for the tips :)
It's like watching paint dry
Should the car be on?
Depend on what your testing.
Thanks man.. Good job.
Thanks!
Why would I need to test a fuse for headlights when turning the car on and operating the headlights.. I would get my question answered. Don’t need a light-tester to tell me if there is power or a fuse blown to my head-lights, because the head-lights are on being self evident. But it is a good example however for other kinds of fuses which could be tested on the ON position while not having a visible confirmation sign such as a head-lamp.
Ya boy looks mad nervous! Why?!?! Lol
Thanks for the video bro.
I was nervous. I wanted to make sure what I say make sense. So I was nervous and concern about wasting my time because if I screw up I would need to record myself all over again.
Thanks
will the circuit tester works on auto glass type fuses?
I haven't try it on any other type of fuse.
Thanks sir
Awesome
Boss hiw i know test can you tech me
Instructions on tester says to disconnect car battery...
Good
what brand is the test light?
it looks like OEM mini circuit tester
Vielen Dank
A fireman
YOUR BATTERY IS SUPER DIRTY
Why don’t you grounded to the battery it’s right there
Don’t start cutting wires dude
That circuit tester comes equipped with an IDIOT light.OBD2 models 90’s and newer don’t like the onbe poked and prodded with old school circuit testers. You can do more harm than good. Go down to the local box store and grab yourself a FLUKE multimeter
Very helpful video, thank you!
Great video
