But I would have left the petals out since they either seem to have bubbles in them or have partly been destroyed by the resins heat because they were not dried in silica before. Could you please be so kind and also put the link to the LED disc in since this is the only item which is missing? I am planning a slightly different project. Thank you for sharing this. Really cool, sadly not everyone can afford such drilling machines, maybe you could work out a way to make a light without such a machine & soldering and the like.
Your suggestion is very good . We can make some beautiful lamps without using a machine. Next I will make a simple lamp, but if there are tools, it can be better.
You don't need any machinery like this i make things like this all the time with resin and a expert with resin and I don't own anything like this either and still make exactly the same things without any machine like that!
I use the same idea and technique like a factory dose and too find something suitable first then place it in the mould before you fill the mould too the last part just a couple of inches from the edge of the mould
You can buy battery boxes off Amazon for setting into resin anyway and carefully fill the rest of the mould to the top with the battery boxe setting into the middle of the resin
I’ve just bought a multi round crystal display led light turning base --battery operated you sit it under the bottom !!

Does the flower not change colour as it decays? I know there's no air in there, but there must have been enough in the petals to make it change colour over time, right? I know pressed flowers go a dingy beige or brown tone after a while.

Different brands of resin, the ratio of resin to curing agent is not the same, there are 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 or 5:1, etc., so just look at the resin packaging instructions. Calculate by weight

That uses a 5v power supply, just use our mobile phone charger to drive it
