I appreciate your humor and no nonsense approach to cycling gear and apparel. I am returning to the sport after a ten year absence, bought three bikes, upgraded one to carbon wheels. Ride in So Florida a hundred miles a week. Your videos have re-educated me. A lot has changed since purchasing my Litespeed Criterium bike in 1999. Thank you for being you. That was corny…
One of my fav quotes is "the more things change the more they stay the same" kind of similar to what ben was saying about borrowing peoples ideas and building not much is truly new nowadays.
Its very hard for you to create something I don't love. Keep up the great work Dustin. Yum yum yum, I'll gobble up your content like that meatball sub you had from Lardo.
I accidentally had a few hours in Portland today and went to Monograph Bookwerks based on this and holy mother of god is that place amazing. I spent way to much cash there but it was worth it. Thanks!
This was my entire pandemic experience while living in Portland last summer. Lots of free time and sooo many 90’s mtb ramble rides. This city is so much fun to just bike around with little to no plan.
For the longest time I have wondered about what exactly EBD meant. In my mind a very young Dustin gets caught goofing around in the office, his defence …but EBD!
Great relaxing ride man. Just got a message from specialize on their new crux 😱. Hoping you’ll keep us in the know with a fresh demo of it soon! I bought my most recent sworks gravel because of your videos! You had more influence than the shop did.
Looks like a good and fun time had. I’ve been wanting a similar frame as The one you used for the ride. For the casual around town rides or for long distances ones as well. Looks like a nice ride and dig the color scheme on it.
Maybe it's because I'm a hayseed from nowhere, but it sure is trippy seeing a youtube vid where someone's just ridin' around somewhere you've been before...
@@EverythingsBeenDone I had a blast riding from town, and up to the paint brush trails and farther. The coffee and food is on point in bend. The pantry on NW Newport is the place with their home made almond milk for their espressos. But man, that city needs better bike lanes in the city, it’s rough to get around in town. Hope they improve it. Can’t wait to see what riding Portland is like in your video.
Not sure if you've mentioned before, but do you have prescription cycling glasses, wear glasses under non-scripts, or wear contacts with? As a non-contact wearer I want to know
Bikes, bookstores, and sandwich shops; what a perfect day in paradise! Just love your videos with your cyclist friends, and the music you use is the icing on the cake!❤🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️
If I see Ben's bike and his confidence and satisfaction in it: it reminds me of my Trek 520. There is nothing what could be changed to improve the riding feel. Just cosmetics and blingbling, but no functional progress. But I have to blame Trek for the position of wire stops on the downtube - no way to mount downtube shifters in a proper way. Shame on you! ;-)
How are you pedaling forward but going backwards on the green dots at the end? Nobody cares about Cafe Vita cuz they have the worst coffee of the 4 major shops on Alberta. The Australians at Proud Mary have the best.
📲Shall we Instagram?: bit.ly/DkleinIG
That David Lynch impression was spot on.
Ben is a Gem
Dude you guys should have a regular show, this was phenomenal.
More of this plz. Cruising to spots with a coffee/food/gear check and a nice convo are fun to watch.
Jimmy totally appreciate your supportive words. I will defiantly make more of these, thanks to you!

Love these casual chill ride reports!! Its also nice seeing some highlights of Portland, Im taking notes!!
Nick Super stoked you like this one! Thank you for the motivation!!!!
I'm not sure what it was about this episode, but I want more of it 🍻
Let's do it!!
So good Dustin! Glad to see a casual, not so serious, friendly conversation, it enlightend my day #keepupthegoodworkdustin 👍
Patrick, your words are super motivating! Thank you for the support!
Interesting way of saying it and thanks for inviting us along!!
Its very hard for you to create something I don't love. Keep up the great work Dustin. Yum yum yum, I'll gobble up your content like that meatball sub you had from Lardo.
Andrew, you just made my day bud!!
gordon cole impression was mind blowing!

Kind of how I spent the 90s there.
Kudos for a great effortless episode Dustin
Cheers bud!
I like hearing the deep, philosophical conversations over the video. And seeing Portland as always
Robin,Thanks for the feed back! I will see if I can get more of these to surface!
Agreed with the previous commenters…. More food and convos 🤩 casual fantastico
You got it!
I made it to Portland last night, Dustin. Let’s ride today or any day you can. Don’t be shy 🙂
Action Brad... what a player
All about the 90s race frames with chrome fork and stays!!
Simply the BEST!!
Lardo is super dank. I’ve been to Portland once and that was the first place I ate.
WOw I am stoked to hear that!
Great and fun video! Thanks DK!
Just came across your page Dustin. Really enjoying your videos, laughing, entertained, educated, appreciate the content...
1:15 Hi Ben!
Hey buddy
I...REALLY liked this one
I've been meaning to go to Monograph for ages. I see it when I pass then somehow immediately forget about it.
Love the channel. Keeps the spirit of fun in cycling. From Calgary
As a fellow no-bread-human, I won't lie, I fudged at Lardo. The bread was well worth the penance paid.
I still want to do a video with you PLAYER!!
For a second there I though "Magaziner" was a hip job in a book shop!
I wish!
For the longest time I have wondered about what exactly EBD meant. In my mind a very young Dustin gets caught goofing around in the office, his defence …but EBD!
Love the vintage steel!!
Alberta St is my absolute fav.
Yeah Lardo! Best French Fries,(Frits) in town! And sandwiches...and beer!

Dude. Try sour dough bread from natural yeast. It's awsome.
Also. Jazz and bikes. Two things I love. Awsome.
The Daccordi lives! That frame would be so hot built up with modern campy
hitting all the spots.
Aha. I have the same grips. Super comfy!
Looks like a good and fun time had.

Sad not to have a Giancarelli cameo. Probably slaying meatballs or pasta at grassa.
That was hilarious ! More !

Your videos always inspire me to go ride around PDX :)
This makes my day! Monograph is 100% worth checking out!!
@@EverythingsBeenDone I will definitely check them out! Always down for new reads.
My daily ride is a 96 Rockhopper with a Yak trailer behind. I bought new
Totally Would
Caffe Vita SEA vs. PDX comment... funny because it's true (also works the opposite way with Stumptown)
So good.
Player!
1988 hard rock with a coaster wheel was my fave commuter. Too hilly locale now. Breezer radar gets commuter duty now.
"Everything's been done." That's when it clicked.
White bike needs more air in the tires? Looks very good but soft.
Love that bike
Pretty cool bikes!
I'm sold - how about a select band of 'world riders' for the next one Dustin?
For clarity - in no way am I some kind of 'world class' rider - I just thought a bunch of peeps from all over, who like bikes (like me) 😁
I think youre world class!
@@EverythingsBeenDone Well now . . . steady on! 😸
I like Ben.
He is amazing!! We need more Ben on the channel!
Has Rick been in a previous video? Kind of miss riding in PDX. Used to start at lair hill at MountainSpeed MRP and ride all around.
Yes he was in this episode: ua-cam.com/video/zc0w2hawxEU/v-deo.html
I'm all protein, but I can't resist sourdough in any form.
No calories left behind!
An excellent day out.

I 💗 that Dacorrdi
Were you fixing your flat at the NW corner of Peninsula Park?
Can we get detailed photos of that bike? Love it!
You should make a video about “how to stay alive on a bike in Bend Or.” Maybe the city will improve the riding around town there. It’s brutal.
Might be time for another Bend Adventure!

I am all Rx all the time!! I have an Rx riding glasses video filmed and in the que will be out shortly.
@@EverythingsBeenDone woot!! Alright, I'll be on the lookout for that. Thanks 😁
Ben was cool...
This format has legz.
Appreciate this!
Fantastic 🏁🏁💪💪💪
Thanks ✌
That paint job though
you literally drove by three of my friends houses. Lmao!
Fun Fact -- Rick was not the Chef at Chris King, you seem to have mistaken him for the very talented chef and avid cyclist Chris DiMinno.
You are correct. I mistakenly thought that Rick also worked at king at some point.
Chris is also a rad dude.
ACTION BRAD
You know that one of these days, a bunch of us are going to show up when you invite us in your intro.....just saying.
OMG that would be AMAZING! what an episode that would be!
Van, would. Stumpy, would
What does your hat say? “Keep going, fuck the world”? If so where can they be purchased?
If getting more excited about older bikes with racks than brand new plush carbon fibre racing thingies is wrong. I don't want to be right!

oh man who's stumpy at 1:27? I want to talk to that guy
Hipsters….
Love the city content. Less Seattle hate tho.

Wallpaper triggered folks, not really right?
Ew, tubes.
