As 6 sx, it's difficult to always see hyper aggressive and reactive attitude characters. I'm really glad I get to relate with Clementine and knew her journey, so thank you.
hii thank u for being patient! ignore the fact that there is some typos. E7 and E8 will come out quicker since im on break :) edit: i'm still busy and have assignments, pls bear with me.
My partner is a SP 6 and the descriptions are very insightful into the way they think and behave. They often seek security and protection from me, but also have a strong need to feel the same from a larger social group such as friends or coworkers. They are a people pleaser to the level of harming their own wellbeing and are never confident that others actually like them in a secure way, so they try to be as likable as possible, but secretly go through waves of paranoia, projection, and resentment. They also don't like being a six as it clashes with their idea of what they "should" be in order to be truly likable and secure. As a SX 5 their desire for protection from me meshes with my own need for commitment and loyalty from my partner, but I find their people pleasing of groups hard to understand and frustratingly self-destructive, and have to push back against my desire to dominate them in order to make them "better" and more focused on me. I'm trying to grow and need to learn to be more active and open when my partner is engaged elsewhere instead of intoverting and disengaging from the world. Thanks for these videos they are good food for thought!
Great video, while sx6 is more reactive then other 6 cores, that’s kinda like being the tallest dwarf-they’re still a very logically oriented, and (internally) cautious type. I’ve seen this shift in some parts of the typology community from “All aggressive characters are type 8” to “Sx6 is type 8 light” and that kinda buggs me. Sx6 may be rebellious and aggressive but a 6 core is still gonna six core.
How would you type Marlon? Dude was interesting to say the least. Excellent videos by the way, very informative and nice presentation. Good to see quality typology content on YT recently.
I’m definitely relate to Sp6 but at the same time I feel like their are aspects of sp4 I tend to relate especially the descriptions of being stoic and having a level of endurance when it comes to pain. But for the sp6, I can definitely relate to wanting to find secure and reliable alliances and acquaintances in order to deal with fear as well as self doubt but I’m not really sure Is their anyway you can the tell the difference between sp4 and Sp6?
SP3 is image focused and more concerned with shame than fear. SP3 does not feel the need to depend on someone or something to feel protected/escape feelings of fear. the SP3’s motivations are based upon how they are being perceived. Fear in SP3 comes from image prioritisation and vanity, fear in SO6 comes from instability and threats in the external world. its better to focus on where fear is coming from in the individual
If you constantly doubt ur own conclusions when it comes to intellectual and logical conclusions and secretly yearn to have some sort of authoritative figure that you can trust who can tell you if you're right or wrong you're probably a 6
A bit late, but absolutely!! First off, nobody entirely relies on one instinctual drive to manage their lives. We use all 3. Most enneagram scholars call someone ‘social dominant’, ‘sexual dominant’ ect because of this. You may have one you go to most often, but you use all, sometimes being dominant in different instinctual drives depending on whether you’re at work or with family. So all types use all instinctual drives to different degrees in different situations. Some people have a strong leaning where others are more balanced. But sixes in particular are known to not have a strong preference for an instinctual type and can’t pin down their subtype clearly. It’s related to the six’s very ‘it’s depends’ nature.

This is so well done!!
Is Heather Mason from Silent Hill 3 a sx6? She has that defensive, accusatory, and paranoid nature. Or is it all from living in hiding all her life...
You should have taken Armin arlert as an example of sp6
Nice video I'm an Sexual E6. Hope you make Socionics videos too.

I have so much difficulty in finding out whether or not I’m a enneagram 5 or 6
Did you find out??
I just can’t understand I am 4 or 6 ( or what if I’m something else and I’m just “blind”)
If you constantly doubt ur own conclusions when it comes to intellectual and logical conclusions and secretly yearn to have some sort of authoritative figure that you can trust who can tell you if you're right or wrong you're probably a 6
I love your videoss

What are the differences between a type 6 and 9?
Could there be 6s that embody multiple of these sub classes?
