- As the Government moves to bring in new laws banning gang patches in public places, a chapter of Black Power has revealed plans to stop wearing them have been discussed for decades.
Genesis Te Kuru-White (TK), a leader of Black Power Movement Whakatāne, says his father’s generation recognised Black Power needed to change.
