Damn I wish I was still in NY to meet you! I was there for a month a couple of weeks back. I have got to say though, going to the local shops, immersing myself in the culture of the city meeting new people and performing for the locals was some of the most fun I have ever had performing magic! Like you showed in your video hardly anyone says no if you ask them if you can show them a trick :) looking forward to more vids on your latest exploits :)
"Where did you learn that trick?" *Professional well trained magician which has read almost every good magic book, is a good creator and well respected in the magic community* : " UA-cam!" lmao
Delud3d Minds I know this is an old comment but can u tell me what age is a good age to get a mentor cause obviously u want to have some degree of skill first (but u don't have to) but yeh can I just learn from book?
It's so interesting to see how advanced magicians do their ACR, even as a backup trick for when something like the Classic Force misses. Way to go Chris!!!
Teddy Kenyon Here's the secret to get people to walk up to you.... top secret.... are you ready for this? The card spring! That's it. Nothing else. Don't have to say a word, don't have to put on a funny outfit, don't have to do any pointless juggling... I mean xcm garbage. Go to the mall, and just start springing your cards. Tons of people will come up to you. Try it!
Whodda Whatta I never actually thought to try that. I have been at bus stops and restaurants and had people walk up to me because of the card spring, but I never thought to use it for that express purpose. That's genius. Thank you!
I LOVE THESE TYPE OF VIDS!!! when you get out and interact with people it's really inspiring and shows people how to use there magic, love it!!! teaching how to interact with people through magic is more valuable than just being taught the "mechanics" in my eyes!! keep it up!!! 😁😁😁❤️️
Here's the sweet tip I observed from Williamson for the crimped card on top - don't make the sound at the same time pop the card - count it down - wait half a beat then pop. People aren't the sharpest when you say 3-2-1 . if you say 1 then nothing happens they focus even more -then- pop. But don't milk it...
This was great. I love how you are confirming what most of us already believe but some naysayers always complain about... teaching magic online. The VAST majority of people won't see a trick and then go look it up on UA-cam
Thanks for the inside look of a spectator! It was really interesting to hear some opinions from the aduience's point of view and see how they feel about magic.
@ 6:06 Daaayyyyum that pass is smooth, when he asked where you learnt it you could've said youtube even if he looked it up, no one can do it that well without hours and hours of practice
Gotta say, the way you transferred the whole deck to your pocket just before the 'Ow Mai gawwwd' was smooth as butter. May have to practice and use that myself, with your permission of course!
Monday im getting a rare deck too. Perfect! Thank you for being such an inspiring person Chis Ramsay! You and your gang are welcome with your own house in a Greek Island if you are up to it. Polish your Greek deal, cheers
Awesome vlog as always Chris! Also, nice recovery on the ring routine, you didn't miss a beat and it still got an amazing reaction as you segued into the next part. There's always something to learn from watching your performances. Thanks for the great content!
Hey Chris yesterday i've talked with a friend of mine about your upcoming videos and if they will be good or not... NOW i got the answer: yes they are good!🖒 vlogging AND magic is what the crowd wants to see😎🔥 Thanks and keep it on man! peace and #STOPTHINKING 😉
You gotta come try that same experiment here in Detroit. Mainly just so I can meet you but also it would be interesting to see how people from different parts of the country respond to those same questions.
Kinda cool how I thought of doing that ambitious card routine where you fold the card by myself and then seeing that it's a technique used by loads of amazing magicians around the world is kinda cool to see that I had the same thought.
I'm gonna try the new app My Shuffles by Cardistry Touch. It's always good to know honest opinions from laypeople about our kind and what we do, either live or online
"Hey you guys wanna see some magic" CHRIS YOU BETTER KNOW WHO THIS IS ABOUT literally your favorite magician, you said this early in the video and I thought about it anyways already know it's gonna be a dope video so I went ahead and dropped a like
This was great, certainly boosted my confidence in approaching someone without the fear of them automatically hating magic. Also, what book or dvd or whatever it is teaches those ring through the finger tricks you do?
great video as always ....I have to admit the ring/finger trick is personally my favorite non card trick and would love to learn it .... is it sold anywhere? if not will you be releasing it any time soon?
This is what I call a social experiment. Not dressing up like a hitman, dropping a suitcase next to a random person, assuming it's some kind of explosives... Good job Chris -thumbsup- :D
Chris be like " Do you want ur wallet back?" 😂😂😂
OH MY GAWDD!!! Also... meet up in NY?
Chris Ramsay yaaaaaassss plzzzzzz
Do it! :)
