It's cause of the invincibility he gets when sonic is in the super form if we going by comic logic sonic can hold up the form for days but if by game logic and you use the ring counter then it's how long can goku take till the form breaks but given the end is hyper vs mui then sonic has no ring limit

But in the fact Dark form was way weaker than Super, at least judging by feats. Dark form looks like huge power boost for Sonic, while Super form is some kind of a God
This a interesting dynamic: Super sonic staying in first form while goku goes into a 4th form to match is like cooler having to be in his 5th form to compete with first form of a Saiyan

@@ladykaeproductions147to be honest super saiyan 3 is equal with base sonic, and super saiyan god is equal with his super form. I’d say with an accurate fight (as this isn’t very accurate) it would be super saiyan blue goku. If he uses sign or normal ui then sonic is cooked.
These power levels aren't exactly canon, so depending on who you downplay it'd be a walk in the park for Super Sonic, or a walk in the park for ssb Goku. I'd say Sonic takes this because his power level is more consistent and agreed upon. Although I've seen people scale him equally too sonic, I've also seen a lot of people debunk him back to complex multiversal.

It would be very easy for Goku to defeat someone on Sonic's level. You must not know Dragon Ball scaling. Also, Frontiers Sonic makes zero difference to the argument, as whatever power boost he's obtained is simply unquantifiable.
