I just discovered your videos and love your work. I have been addicted to collecting glass pieces and beads for years but never quite knew what to do with them. Your artistic talent is what I have been waiting for. Glass and resin.......a match made in Heaven!
I just found you as well. I’m a floral designer and interior designer. I had to stop because my husband is home with hospice. He has Glioblastoma brain cancer. I miss this so much!!! Thank you for this! I miss my craft shows!!!
Oh Aggie, looks like I am really late to the party. I stumbled across this video and was absolutely mesmerized. Your art is beautiful and you give off the sweetest vibes. I have subscribed and will be watching every video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, it is so very appreciated.
I've been doing resin for 12 years, I started with designing for alumilite resin. Respirators should be encouraged to wear. Whether a resin says no VOC's or not it still gives off harmful chemical vapors when heated. You may not feel the affects of it immediately but that doesn't mean long term use without a mask won't happen. Your work is beautiful.
Aggie your work is AMAZING!!! Thank you for sharing your heart and for being such an amazing TEACHER :-) I'm working on getting the confidence and "how to" to jump on board and create a few videos myself :-) (Being hispanic; I cant wait to see the sugar skull!) Peace, love and many blessings to you Aggie
Oh my goodness! I couldn’t sleep so I reached for my iPad and went to you tube and found you! This is gorgeous! I’ve done some resin tops on dressers to sell but want to do the Christmas trees! Just beautiful work you have done glad I found you!😎😎🧡🧡
Hi Denise! I hope you took my Christmas Trees class. If you didn’t take it you can still take it now because the class is still up. It’s a private group on Facebook and you can watch the videos anytime. The class includes a really nice PDF workbook and all of the videos are also available here on my UA-cam channel. They are not listed for the public to view. ❤️❤️❤️
I have never tried resin art before, and there is probably a very logical reason for the question I am about to ask. If you needed 1/2 cup of resin couldn’t you put 1/4 cup of the resin and then just fill the cup to 1/2 with hardener instead of having to use 2 cups and scrape out the hardener? Your work is wonderful by the way!
Totally guessing here but maybe it’s in case you pour too much of one or the other? For example if you add 2 & 1/2 oz of resin into a cup and then when you’re adding the hardener you over pour and get 3 oz of hardener, if you’re mixing in the same cup then you’d have to add another 1/2 oz of resin. Then you’d have too much and waste it.
Wow!! So happy I found you. This is so awesome. I’ve used resin many times & would love to give glass a try. How can I observe some of videos of you making your beautiful artwork? Very inspiring! 🥰
Is that a painted pumpkin and where did you get your glass? Did you cut it yourself and if you did did you tumble it to remove the sharp edges? Thanks beautiful work.
Please can you widen your screen.I find it hard to focus on what you are doing to create your amazing pieces of art. Greetings from Wolverhampton in The West Midlands, England.xx
So sorry about that Jo! I am trying to find a way to come up with to resolve that issue. Most of the time I’m shooting my videos in the vertical format so it is a problem. Please advise if you have a solution! 🥰
When I spread my resin with my finger, I see empty spots, I’m new so I panic and put more in the little cavities 🤷🏽♀️. Yours looks so smooth. Also how deep/thick does the resin have to be to stick a pin like your bumblebee?

Wouldn’t pouring or drizzling it create bubbles? I’m very new to this. Just asking. Okay! You’ve answered… use the heat gun! Beautiful work!
Yes, seems like just about everything creates bubbles but they are easily removed with a heat gun or flame torch! 😅
Really enjoyed watching this. I do wish I had seen you place the glass pieces! I will look at some more of your work. Thanks!

What is the make of the resin you are using?
