I don’t have much experience with Klon pedals! Strangely enough most of the session players I’ve worked with over years don’t have a Klon or Klon Clone on their pedal board!
@@Producelikeaprowhen I played with Jeff Beck he had a Klon on his board straight into his Marshall. The original gold Tumnus is a must, such a great pedal. This pedal is killer, but it seems to be a bit of a sellers market on these just day after the release!!!
Marvellous! When I jammed with him at his house he had the prototype Marshall 2000's and wasn't using pedals (he did have a Rat but wasn't;t complimentary about it when I asked him!)@@SixStringAlliance
The demo track is really quite a beautiful piece of music. Thanks for explaining your influences as I was trying to guess them. I was fortunate enough to snag one of these and I think it is as close to anything at least that I have heard. The Klon circuit in the CrazyTubes Unobtanium is very close also, but I like this one for sure. Thanks!
Bought one the second they were released… then on a whim clicked and bought another. Luckily nabbed two! Keep one and retire on the other?? Lol!!! Probably gift the other to a pal of mine.
Good video. I have one observation though: all these videos are coming out now that the pedal has virtually sold out forever everywhere is kind of odd but hey, thanks for your views. The second-hand market for these is going to be interesting...
@@hgostosthis argument is stupid AF. I‘ve read it on Wampler‘s website. But there is a nearly unlimited stash of Ge-Diodes in the free market. Of course it’s all old Stock but you’ll find them. I am waiting for mine and I am very interested what diode is in the device. If it’s a colored, gray or black ribbon it might be a Russian diode and from tha you’ll easily be able to buy 100.000s for maybe 50€/1.000pcs. I am sure there will be second, third batch. And a „deluxe“ special edition and a very special version with extraordinary very special high grade diodes from a secured stash. Bla blub bla.
I love the original Tumnus, but this one is something a bit special. I also have an Archer. Any other Klon style pedals you guys use o recommend?

That’s awesome!! I think he had 2000’s on that gig. The Rat is an odd pedal, I did have one but used it more as a boost with the gain down.

Yes we are aware. This video was commissioned before, and they had no idea it would sell so fast, but maybe there’s a second run of them coming?
