Nicely done. The size difference between Ajax and Warrior!! Both meant to have the new 40mm cannon fitted but unfortunately Warrior doesn't as got cut...💷
Now I understand that the warrior upgrade was cancelled but it got to such a stage it was viable . In another video with one of the CT40 inventors he said that the CT40 was tested on the warrior. Looking at both these vehicles the Ajaxs and Warrior it clicked in my mind that the kids of the Warrior on its improvement trials it had the Ajaxs turret and CT40 gun on it it also by what I understand had the Ajaxs engine and gearbox and final drive fitted yet they cancelled it in favour of the Boxser IFV . Looking at conditions in Ukraine and myself knowing the ground Conditions of Norway Sweden and Finland both in summer and winter the Boxser will not work well there , and yet Britain gets to lead the NATO reaction force in Finland why do you think Norway Sweden Finland use the CV90 systems of tracked vehicles. I think reviving the Warrior upgrade program should be a high priority. The Ajaxs system is at full build replacing the ring system of the Warrior for the Ajaxs type is not rocket science build 500 more turrets fitted with the CT40 the engines and gearboxes would have to be made for stock supply so make more to refit the Warrior all the parts are there OK the Warriors engine compartment mite need a bit of work wiring loomes engine mounts added moved but it can be done so the answer I suppose is the age old one or two one being money and the other everybody eles is getting new toys I want a new toy . But on the whole the Warrior works the main part the body tracks surviverbuilty all work . If the Germans can still use the Marder . I know what your thinking they also have the Puma and Lynx Pumer has problems with its electrical and optics basically there out of date even worse that the Warrior. The Lynx is big I mean its huge put it next to a Liopard 7 and it makes the Liopard looks like a dinky toy talke about an elliphant hiding on the head of a pin its not me I'm not a Lynxs hiding behind this lamp post . The Amaricans are going to have the same problem with there XM 80 it's worse than the Bradley and I thought that was on the super size me system too . But I always thought the Warrior was the right size the Goldilocks of IFVs so bring it back make it better all the parts are there

Engine sounds amazing on the Ajax, almost like a 2 stroke diesel. That was some dust, I guess that is what three weeks without rain causes.
Weirdly, it's a four stroke MTU unit, 800hp. It does sound awful but that's just in keeping with everything else about the whole project..............
I've said it once and I'll say it again, we should have never gone with the Ajax and gone with the already In-service and proven CV90.
Just to add insult to injury, it's based on the ASCOD platform which is already 17 years old!
