Team Triton Build a Giant Resin Lava River Table! Ep1 Wood Selection & Preparation

- With the help of Crimson Guitars the Triton team has built its own giant resin lava table! Made with a huge slab of live edge European walnut, the final table comes in at just under 3 meters long, 50mm thick, and contains 70 litres of two-tone epoxy pour!
Watch this first episode to see how we selected the wood, started with the sanding and planing prep, and got to cutting the slab ready for the incredible river effect. Stay tuned for tips on how you can get incredible results with patience, good technique, and the right tools.

New tool for Triton a metal detecting wand ?
Hi Guys, what are those stands that the table is laying flat on, I have most Triton tools but have not seen those. Are they available, can't find them anywhere. Cheers Dennis
Not the multi stands, got loads of them.
OK I'm sorry this may be a bad comment but having a big brand name on anything is really trashy in my opinion it takes away from the beautiful work. But it's in my opinion I would have put it on the underside if it must be there just to preserve the looks of the table. But I do love tables like that it always looks pretty awesome
Hi @davidlayton4310, we get what you mean but this table now sits in a Triton brand area at Triton HQ where we hold lots of meetings internally and with customers, so we're proud to shout about our brand 🙌 We understand if it was going into someone's home they might want something a bit more subtle! Glad you like the project though! 👍
@@Tritonwoodwork that makes sense to me that it would have the giant logo then. Still is a bit big for me but makes sense. And yeah I love this kind of stuff its amazing if I had money ever I would have one like it for a craft table as I do model work and drawing and coloring. But great table anyway I didn't mean any disrespect
