Hey Dave, don't forget to skim through any books that you find. Another storage guy never checks his books for money. This time his girlfriend was helping and she looked through a 1/2 dozen books and found several $10s and $20s. I have also heard some others say that they sometimes find money (not just change) in with old bills and other paperwork.
You need to flip through that paper! When an elderly relative of mine died back in the 80's relatives were grabbing stacks of newspapers and paperbags and letters and pitching them in the fire out in the yard until they discovered there was money slid inside of them.....who knows how much they burned! Also found Prince Albert tobacco tins with money in them. Examine everything, including the furniture, for secret stashes.
HOLY MOLY ! what a find! please let us know what they worth! amazes me what people store , but they must have their reasons ! loving the videos ty so much for taking the time to show us.
I agree somewhat. It's two types. The ones that hide cash between pages here or there, then the types with a paper fetish that just can't throw paper away.
I love finding boxes of paper items, check all envelopes, look into books, old calendars are good, ink blotters, all old advertising pamphlets and of course paper money.
Congratulations on the gold rings! What a great find. Star sapphires can be worth some good money. Maybe you could get a jeweler to give you an appraisal and you would know if it was worth it to sell the ring as is. Good luck!
@@pauld8790 Simplify the process. They can't jack you around with comparing imaginary flaws and such. And they can't press you for what the other guys offered if you don't know yet. They only get one shot at them and it better be what they are willing to pay.
I've found that exact drill and 2 of those guitars. I sold the guitars for like $50 a piece. Where live they have the auctions on Saturday mornings and the dump closes at 1pm and doesn't open again until Tuesday. I try to get a load or 2 to the dump before they close and then wind up hauling everything else home to sort. I have a full sized half ton truck and a 6'x14' toy hauler trailer so I can haul a lot, I live 10 miles from the units. I try to handle things as few times as possible. I had a 30'x50' 4 car detached garage built 7 years ago so that gives me room to sort and store. I'll retire in August and this will be my retirement income/job.
What about his time ? He paid out His $30 to clean that squaller . Those rings were not real with that cheap look and that ‘tin’ sound when they hit together .
that's a real good drill that you found i have three of the, used they are about 90 dollars. you got three times your money in just the drill alone. Hitachi drills are better than dewalt drills the Hitachi drills are about three hundred dollars new here nut used 90 dollars and the guitar is worth about 2 to 300 dollars here depending on condition. all together you got quite a score there.
You could donate all your phone's to a domestic violence program. They give them to women who have been abused to call 911. They don't have to have a cell phone plan to dial 911. Just a suggestion. Great storage locker.
The small guitar I bought my daughter when she was little cost more than the electrics I bought my son. So it could be worth a little something :) Cool finds!
I have seen other resellers take cell phones and group some up and sell them as parts on ebay. You can also go to Declutter and see if they well buy them. It is a app or website that you can check and the good thing is they pay cash and offer free shipping
the brown stone is a Tigers' Eye and the second is a star sapphire, it should be blue, if any other color get it checked lots of fakes on gold settings.
I know this. Ibanez and Charvel and Jackson have some sweet thrash metal sound electric guitars from the 90s. But this is acoustic. Ibanez does make high end acoustic guitars that are affordable, like in the $500-$600 range, but this ain't it. I recognize the bag and the neck mount. That's a beginner guitar, It's an Ibanez "Jam Pack". I'm not sure of the exact model, IJV-50 maybe, but it was a kit with guitar, gig bag, strap, tuner, picks, and everything you need for about $130.00 brand new in box. Easy $80-100 if complete and good condition used, and easy $50 if just the guitar and bag. For a beginner guitar they were well made and affordable.
I live in Latvia and it's not popular here the storages units. Maybe someone could suggest how and where do i look for these lucky finds? It's seems the only option for me would be a metal detector.
Old cellphones can be donated to shelters against domestic violence. Even if the phone has no service, no minutes... if you can keep it charged you can call 911.
Was there a balance on that Walmart card ? It looks like you tossed it in the garbage pile after you found the gold. How much did you get for the gold?
Hard to tell from the video but the wood seems like the typical stuff the knock offs are using. I am very aware that some major brands produce in China. For every legit brand producing here, there are dozens upon dozens of workshops copying. Trust me on that.@@fireseid1
Posted at the top of the thread about it. It's a beginners guitar kit. IBANEZ jam pack. About $130 brand new with all accessories. Affordable and incredible decent for beginners, not garbage at all. Just not expensive. They sound nice, and easy to learn on and nothing high end about them. It's something for parents to buy that's good enough, when a kid says "I wanna play guitar" that isn't difficult for them to get good sound out of, yet won't break the bank if the kid decides to give up on it 3 weeks later either. It's an easy $50 bill I think.
That looks like an Ibanez half size or Ibaneze junior guitar. brand new in Australia they usually start at around $300 WITHOUT CASE/BAG. Second hand you could easily put $200 on that guitar with bag as it looks brand new. (toss the picks in for free) This is what you could sell it for in Australia so for USA, you will have to do research yourself.
Remember to sort through your dimes, anything before and sometimes on 1964 is made of 90% silver, and pennies before 1982 are made of 90% copper. Valuable nickels and quarters are more rare.
I haven’t been pulling out my copper pennies probably would be a fun thing to do with my kids but I always check my coins to pull out wheat pennies though
Umm not sure what types of locks i have sold. Locks from $20. Up too $340. Now those were rare. Ive had alot of them avg. $ 60. Keys as well on let it go. Its a local. App. Good. Luck. Love ur. Vidios
That's not A Spanish guitar. It's a standard American style steel string guitar. Ibanez is one of the best known guitars on the US market and well respected. Definitely a good find!
With every storage videos , purchased through on action sell , I always think about those owners , what happened to them ? Why they left such as valuable property behind ?
Ibanez are great guitars for beginners just make sure it's right for Darwin you don't want to give a right handed guitar to a left handed person or vice versa, great score Dave love the vids.
I could be wrong but I think I almost saw a crack of a smile break out when you found that Gold 😂 nice unit!
Wow nice work on finding change, gold and surprises for your children!

I hope you checked each one of those quarters, solid silver ones are worth bucks nowadays.
As he dumps a separated jar of silver into random coins LoL 👍
Silver quarters are not solid but 90% and dealers are only paying $2.00 each right now. Still would be a good profit.
I sure would like to have dave think about doing something LIVE, You SCORED Dude. Hope you make much $$$
love your video's never miss it i just subscribed
Awesome finds, Good for you, hard work pays off.
Definitely needed a beer when I got home a ton of work
Damn you gonna have fun rolling up that change
Nice man 👍
Enjoy your day,

Happy New Year ! Good video.
Well done on finding the cash dave .
I'd take those rings to three independent jewelers & have them write a sealed bid on each ring. Open them at home & go collect!
Why is a sealed bid

Hi Dave. The Hitachi brand is Japanese but really known for TV’s and other personal electronics. Congrats on the two gold rings! Happy New Year! CP

my thoughts too. Ibanez can be very very good
Pretty sure it is a copy Ibanez. Usually well enough made and a good beginners guitar though!

Hey is there a time limit that you have to get the stuff out and do you flim every storage or only the ones you make money on ?
Check your change for silver and collectable dates of coins.
Make sure you check the coins for silver value. Some quarters, half-dollars and dollars are worth a lot of money.
They were all knew we rolled him today ✌️✌️✌️
That drill paid off the money for the storage plus some. Lol. Crazy how a man has never heard of Hitachi. N
Dave make sure you check dates on those coins. You could come across a hundred thousand to a million dollar coin in one of those piles.
Your videos are great but I'd recommend getting said portable tripod
