It’s plastic, and creaks and flexes every extraction. It’s awesome that you get both pressurized and non pressurized baskets, but I bought one on release and returned it after a week due to my confidence being lowered with its build quality. If you get the original neo with metal construction, it would be the best method for brewing as it takes a bit of time and a fun ritual, like brewing tea in eastern countries.
@@freeubiyou didn’t read up on microplastics invading your balls? If you want double Ds good for you, but I’m avoiding plastic products - ESPECIALLY when that plastic makes contact with high heat components.
@@supanjibobu372 Based on what data, just because the voice said it doesn't make it true. If you want to brew at 94c you can't do that if the brew group lowers the water temperature before 94c.
They designed the brewing head with less mass compared to the original neo brewing head so because you dont need to preheat it as much u can watch lance hedrick for some more in depth reviews in regards to the flair neo series
Just got one. You can throw a silicone cap over the chamber, let it sit with boiling water for like 30 secs. Too long for some-I’m brand new and don’t mind at all

Yes, its plastic. No, it doesn’t creak or flex.

@@freeubi Maybe he got the first batch that had some refinement issues?
The scale is twice the price of the “machine” haha 😂
I was looking to buy that scale one day because I liked how minimalist it looked.. the price was not minimalist, however 😅
Fr - it’s not a machine keeping me from brewing espresso, it’s the damn grinder
That looks so good!
I got the gen 1 without the pressure gauge and it’s genuinely useless. I’m glad they finally wised up and gave it a pressure gauge!
Can’t you add one?
@@antilopo ya but its a basic necessity of the machine so it shud be included and also its expensive
I liked my flair as an entry level machine but preheating took so much extra time and work that I eventually stopped using it
The new 2024 version doesnt need preheating

@robertp457 based on the product description in their website. The newer 2024 relaunch has thinner walls or something along those lines.
@@robertp457It’s thinner metal so doesn’t require preheating. It’s literally a feature 😂
Thanks.🎉
Proceed to make an espresso on a 200 dollars scale

Nekennya biar ga miring itu tutupnya gimana
That tamp looks a bit suspicious.
Expensive foam

The only problem with flair is... All good till it's bend

Plastic junk is there a similar machine that's stainless steel?
