“All you have to do is do it believe it and you won’t fail” I’m an urban explorer and climber, if when I went to climb a 300 m building and I was like “ oh gee I might fall” I would probably fall. The voice in my head has a reminder voice “ I won’t let myself die “ ( on this climb ) I’ve caught myself falling and I never recall executing my catch. I’m an anxious person but I meditate before a climb, or parkour. My biggest hurdle is this voice for parkour, there’s a series of how I can fails. Not just I fall I die , don’t die, or this building could collapse and I could die or if I can’t climb out of here, you get it. The only time that voice of doubt is ever coming in handy is in urbexing or caving is if a hole looks to small it’s probably too small. When in doubt dig it out. Looking at the hole , thinking about the hole won’t make it bigger. I think this was an incredibly important element in the development of parkour skills. Especially beginners. I think mindset is key for parkour and deserves its own video.
@@LiamEllisyou still reply after 2 years?! Bro your deep dive videos are the number one best parkour videos i’ve ever seen and helped an imense amount for me. You should make another video sometime after 2 YEARS
Been drinking coffee for probably over 30 years, the longest I quit for was 6 weeks and let me tell you it was one of the best decision I ever made, after the initial first week of mild withdrawals I had so much peace of mind I had never experienced, unfortunately I started using again promised myself I would do on occasion which never materialised. I've just ended up going back to it on a daily basis, can totally relate to that mental space you are talking about while drinking caffeine and how it effects your parkour. Thanks for the video I will definitely be stopping again at some point soon hopefully 🙏💯
My ADHD brain was laughing while listening to this XD not in a bad way, just think to the mental jitter you spoke about, multiply it x10 and apply it to every day of your life 24/7 🤣 and that is when you are off of caffeine. There is some instances where for ADHD people caffeine produces the opposite result, calming down because of how our neurodivergent brain is physically wired... My 13 years of parkour have been real hard speaking about jumping Headspace 😥
For me I find certain drinks with caffeine (usually pre-workouts or energy drinks) will induce serious anxiety in me while others just give me a good energy boost.
Love this. I like the fact that you are pointing out facts I didn't know about. always a new learn and I don't really need to drink coffee while doing parkour. I know that the change is good and is worth it. cant thankyou enough for these well put together videos. they always help for the better and this is super underrated advice that I haven't heard been talked about enough 😁
First time watching your stuff and that's actually a pretty cool video. Althought I can see that in the present form the stuff you make is not very marketable. The value is there, It's the packaging that could still use some work in my opinion.
I'm actually quite surprised by this. Whenever I tried training without having had coffee, my body might have felt fine, but I had so much trouble concentrating. I would feel like I had terrible balance and that it was difficult to control my body. I'de even feel kind of disconnected from my body, making it clumbsy. Maybe this is because I got too used to coffee and I should try training without it so suddenly. I shall try a gradual decrease!
Yeahhh this is definitely way better than your coffee thing in that one overall video way back at 23:40 called Parkour Insights. Luckily I’ve never had coffee.
Have you tried weaning off of it? Just less and less either day by day or week by week? Like 1 cup of coffee or tea less, or 0.5 or 1 scoop of pre workout or energy drink less.
@@marekcivrny3246 Well then that's awesome! You already know what to do, now comes the task of actually doing it. It's not that hard just to count how many you have a day, you can even just have a piece of paper you keep in your pocket to count each time you consume it. 😁 And again you dont even have to reduce every day, week by week will even work, so long as you stick to it. Consistency is key 🗝️
I was down to 2 cups a day, then over about a week and a half I very slowly decreased the amount of coffee grinds I used to make my coffee. At the end I was using about 1/8th of the amount of coffee grinds. Then I just stopped drinking them. It was a really easy headache-free way to quit coffee.

Some of you know about the classic Coffee rants, here we go 🦧
Can you make a video about how to climb a fence that is smooth with no footholds?
Hope everything's okay, always really enjoyed your videos.
Only drinking water and floral/medicinal teas does get boring. However you make some good points, may have to try not consuming caffeine.
Just started the video but this is what I needed to hear I already know it 🧬👀
Amazing Brother x

I drink coffee, because I am sitting and idle. A way to move when one is inable.
Where did you go??

Great video. As a 12 year old, I have nothing to worry about when it comes to a cuppa!!!
