Beating Nadal and Djokovic, the best clay player ever and the second best clay player of this era, back to back, that's crazy.
Still wouldn't rank it so high, old big 2 guys were warming up still, steadily increasing their level towards the French open, never reaching their 2021 level despite Nadal winning RG.

The Djokovic match was in my top 3 matches from last year. Against any other player, Carlitos would've won that match comfortably and dare I say it, so would Djokovic.
The Nadal match was emotional and a roller-coaster, and the quality wasn't close to the semifinal. In fact, with the more mature Carlitos we're seeing right now, those big drops are no longer as big an issue as in his earlier years.

federer exited in Wimbledon 2019 Final ( last slam win in January 2018), last year it was more like a party, federer was no rival for the best ones in the last 3 or 4 years, the real transition is happening from Nadal who has won 2 slams last year to Alcaraz who is becoming more and more dominant - as they are most alike, plus they already have played against each other

The "Best fruits" of Rafa's legacy apart from trophies is the magnificence of players who try to imitate him in this way or another, this is the best example of how great an impact he leaves ( sorry I just only see Dimitrov imitating Federer and no one else ) - whether it's Alcaraz, Iga Swiatek or Rune.
