I love enya ... I love lothlorien ... I love lord of the rings ... this one takes me 2 or 3 years ago when I first listen to it ,, and it touches my soul .... I love you enya .... I love you so much
After a rough two days (loss of a family member) funeral arrangements, extended drama, sons got rear ended by a hit and run driver, ( not hurt thank goodness) and cannot sleep. I was looking for something to sooth my soul. I had saved this in my Enya collection ... So glad it was there ... Thank you for this :)
Very soothing and pleasent music. Very relaxing after a stressful day at work. After taking a hot bath I listen to it everynight before falling asleep. God bless you..
This has just enhanced the enchanting beauty of the original song. You have created something equally tranquil without departing from the original song's bliss... simply gorgeous
I think a lot of Enya's music evokes landscapes of forests, rivers and mountains. And his romantic vision of Celtic myth resembles Tolkien's Elvish myths. In the 90's never thought it was possible to make a film about LOTR .... Greetings from Galicia! You must be very smart too :))
thank you so much Joachim for uploading this composition. I have listened to it countless times. Whenever I felt a sense of helplessness and hopelessness at work or life in general, I would escape to the building terrace and lookout while I listen to this composition. God bless you
Hola Joaquin, ¿en que album de Enya está esta bella canción? Se que la versicón simple está en el album Shepherd Moons, pero esta canción no se de que album es. Graciaspor tu respuesta.
I associate this with the spring - the first scents of something green and flowers, slight warmth wafting in my face occasionally. I walk in the forest, and to my surprise I wake from my reverie to birdsongs. I had almost forgotten them in the silence of winter. The cold is leaving behind, a new hope springs out again. Winter for me is more about wind sounds, like whisping and ululations, rasping, crunch of the snow, whisks of something slightly touching snow. Sounds that looks for an answer, but only silence answers, and I hear only my own, slightly choked breath muffled by my heavy winter clothes (inhaling is often abrupt; crispy, cold air interrupts it easily). Winter should produce very subtle music, with occasionally threat - majestic like towering over us, and then a relief. Or sleepy moods - the snow is like a blanket. Ice with running water does produce very jingly sounds, so chiming bells fit for winter. In Finns we get -20 C most winters, sometimes -30. In the north, Lapland even -40 happens. First snw is fun, so are the last weeks of winter, when the sun starts to warm again, and you can ski on the shining bright white snow. But mostly winter is majestic - you can't play with it as you please. There has to be a certian respect in our relation to it, even until bowing. Maybe my most wintery song is Konevitsa Church Bells. I feel like I'm on a winter sleigh ride, hearing the bells hanging on the gear the horse has.
Mr. Olsen, lovely arrangement. I believe that Enya would agree; the extra depth & counter-point you're added is sweet candy for the ears, sir. Kudos on your talent & work!!
Complimenti!! Sulla base di una splendida musica di Enya sei riuscito persino ad evidenziare le sue già eccellenti qualità musicali ! Non è cosa da poco; anzi !
thank you for the download, I was listening to this video and thinking to myself "wow, I wish there was a way for me to record this..." Then I saw the "download" link... you made my day! Thanks
This is really ... like the most beautiful thing I have heard this year (I have stumbled upon it when i was searching something before going to see the Hobbit 2 premiere). In one moment when you start the main line... I nearly cried - really moving. And the picture you have chosen is really beautiful!
Very, very nice! Thank you so much! Oh lovely Lothlórien! Would that we could dwell in the land of the Elves where time and beauty do not pass! Tolkien was so inspired by the Holy Spirit! 🙏
If you don't know already by now, Enya did do a couple pieces for the Lord of the Rings movie. I actually heard those first and discovered this later. I imagine this piece helped her get tagged for the movie ones.
This is just slowed down a bit, no magic, but done at pretty high quality indeed! All the fascination behind this tune is based on the original composition, which i always found to be a bit too short - so thanks so much Mr. Olson for enlarging the lisening pleasure of this! really appreciated! btw you look pretty adorable on that thumbnail pic, but thats off topic. ;-)
I have become hooked on this version of this song, thank you so much for doing this! It's helping me for inspiration on my novel I'm working on at the moment. 😉
Update, thanks to your lovely music, it inspired me while writing my fictional, Egyptian mythology, fantasy novel, which has now been published by a publishing company. Thank you so much for such beautiful music that helped to get my creativity flowing. ❤
I like this better than the original, a great creative job. This version has an extra depth, a certain dreamy moodiness (I use that in the best sense). I am taken to another place...
I would love to be able to do such a thing as beautiful as this the closest I got to playing a piano was a hug when I met david helfgott incredible person
No, it just doesn't sound like a real piano recorded. It has effect of an echo, but the echo has the same interval on each note and while you play a real piano you can manage to control different vibration of particular notes, that's why the sound of original version has more quality.
Great version of a magnificent instrumental . It ads new layers without sacrificing any of the songs spirit.

Same here ❤

....perfect example of high vibration music that is channeled from the angelic realms ......
Certainly, it does something to ya like no other music
Chill and warm in my heart ❤️ from this piano performance. Tears of joy.
This is just mindblowing, awesome piece of music.

@sine02assass Enyas Lothlorien is indeed not from the films, but is inspired by the book.

for me, there are certain songs that I solely associate with certain periods in a year. this version is that of winter with snow. gorgeous. thanks.

İzim kalsın, erken gençliğimdendi. Fantastik edebiyatla geçen verimli zamanlara, kurgunun bedenimi sarmaladığı güzel vakitlere...
