You can say Black it's not a dirty word. And "African American" implies an African immigrant. Black people born in America aren't "African American" we are Black Americans unless we happen to be immigrants from africa. Stop the casual othering, it's not woke.
Exactly! The Gold frog style eyes being such a perfect combo of unsettling and striking like the beauty and danger of swamps for sure.
It's just American. You don't see any other race refer to themselves that way, you don't see Asian-American or Western European-American. It's just American.

You aren't both. Even those who are from other countries and have their American Citizenship call themselves Americans.
As a black Southerner, she has taken my heart. So regal and serene. Definitely one of your best dolls!!!!!
I’m convinced that one day your dolls will be valuable collectors items. Like Bob Ross’s paintings on television. Your craft talents and your mother’s sewing skills are online for all to see and future generations of collectors are going to want these dolls.

That Honey Swamp is from the Freak du Chic line. A circus theme, and she was like a marionette doll, which is why her joints are so loose. She had strings and everything.

I love that the roots of her hair are a little lighter because of that pastel pink in the beginning because they make her look like she’s aging naturally and beautifully😍😍

The gold accent for all her swamp vines is perfect, as is her hair colour and eventual finished look!
Not only does her dress seem antebellum, it is very much like fungi I see in the creek where I walk my dog…both visuals, flouncy dress and mushroom frills, suit this goddess perfectly! Your moss, grass, spore-like yellow flowers, and those adorable toadstools are the right touch to denote her Swamp Kingdom!
