Looking forward to the full install video of the Victron Inverter and new Epoch Lithium batteries. It's the exact kind of content that made me start following in the first place!
Just saw they have a group 24 105Ah for only $349. We currently have two agm's that are group 24 size that are only 65Ah and of course you should only draw them down to about 50% so that really only gives us 65Ah. With two of the 105's that would be 210 total and at 80% that would give us almost 170Ah usable. Way cool!! We paid a bit more than the price of one of these 4 years ago for the two AGM's. Time for an upgrade!
The cost is 33 cents per watt/hr without including shipping. If you don't need the heating or communication options, I would look at the Vatrer 460ah battery. I've seen them for around $1100 on sale (with coupon) which puts it at about 20 cents per watt/hr, shipping included.

Epoch batteries are built by RoyPow one of the best manufacturers in China. RoyPow is a division of EVE. Eve is one of the largest cell makers in China. This is how they have such amazing cell to cell consistency, they get true EV/automotive grade cells.
Unless I'm missing something it looks like these are designed and engineered in the US but I'm seeing nothing about where they are actually made. I'm guessing that the lack of red white, and blue screaming eagles all over their site says that they are likely made overseas. Cool looking battery though! I hope it holds up amazingly well!!!
When the batteries are connected, can you turn off each battery? I have Renogy batteries, and I have to disconnect them from each other to put each one in "shelf mode."
The lack of a response is telling. Most UA-camrs are up front with if they paid for them or were given them to promote. If it is a infomercial, just be honest.
Epoch integration with victron is tragically bad and unfixable, most people just end up removing it. Sad it would have been a great battery. You should contact sun fun kits they have a small factor battery with a lot of amp hours and working victron functionality.
David. Great Video. I just finished installing two EPOCH 460s in my class A. Here is a link to my playlist if you are interested. ua-cam.com/play/PLPo0LoYJv-BUJzVUBud2v7iOYG8hOE6Ld.html&si=qHUnk_UxkHjq6IaT
I think what people need to take away the most here is that LiFePO4 batteries are basically a commodity now, and the brands almost don't matter any more. Get something that meets your needs in terms of conveniences, and has a form factor that fits your project, and go from there. That said, anyone looking to install a large amount of battery storage and intend to run a good chunk of wattage in A/C and other appliances, or install a lot of solar, really ought to be looking at higher voltages. Native 24V (25.6V), or 48V (51.2V) LiFePO4 batteries are generally better suited to today's demands. To be honest, 12V really stops making sense once you hit 5kWh and makes even less sense as you add ever-more storage. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it is well worth doing the research. Once you become comfortable with higher voltages, you will never go back to 12V. -Matt
He's explained that in a previous video. Upshot is that not everyone likes being on camera or heavily involved in social media. UA-cam is David's job, not hers. I think she just wants to live her life like a normal person (which I can understand and respect).

Nice! Not sure when that will happen since I haven't decided what Victron inverter to get yet, but sometime soon.
Already have my Battleborn's and now in year 4 with zero issues, but will look forward to your install David!
We’ll be watching your upcoming install video! Thanks, David!
super happy for you, bro! you'll have so much more juice now
Epoch - E-pok? I think it comes from "an extended period of time" definition? Epic or Epoch, same deal though! Awesomeness lol
looking to get a set my self. enjoy my friend
Nice! I hope they work well for you 👍
Glad to see your new batteries. I know you will be happy to get them installed. Oh yes the clean shaven look is great looking. Thanks for the videos.

Epoch is made in America? Please clarify? I am pretty sure they are manufactured by Roypow a battery manufacturer in China?

Nothing on Epoch website says American Made. At best they are assembled in the US. Cells and BMS are most definitely made in China, like all others.
Not actually such a bad thing. China is clearly the leading battery manufacturer now.
All made in China
Yes they are best manufacturing country for solar equipment
What are you doing with the old batteries?
When the batteries are connected, can you turn off each battery? I have Renogy batteries, and I have to disconnect them from each other to put each one in "shelf mode."
Someone made some money this summer😅
Did they gift you the batteries?

They might have. I only got one though so getting two is pretty unheard of.
