This is exactly what i was looking for..thank you!
Glad I could help!
That looks amazing in front of the window!
I wish u lived down the street from where I live. I need some cam lol holes drilled! Darn it.
I bought a hole drill press for this
For future reference, you can buy M4 cam locks and cam dowels from Screwfix in packs of 50 for less than £5 each.
Thanks, I’ve since found those. I’ll still grab them for off old flat packs though 😉
He is like me a survivor handyman no jigs for him👌👌👌👌👌👌💯
👍
I was thinking the same this woman doing it with a drill lol
You could make yourself a gig instead of measuring for each hole. I find that much safer, less room for a bad measure.
Olivier Nicole I have used jigs before, I even made a video about it! On this one though the area was just too big and measurements just seemed easier. Thanks for the feedback 👍
Could you use those cam locks in a wall? So the short end goes into the wall and then the long part goes through, say, a shelf to lock in?
I can’t think of how that would work 🤔
@@KingBespokeCreations so I mean instead of brackets, the locks would be holding the shelf onto the wall
@@chrisa1234They aren't a load bearing joint! They are for butt joining bits of wood together via tension to keep the shape true of say a box/drawer etc, usually along with dowels for added sheer strength. It basically takes the place of glue while being reversible hence why it's the favourite of flat pack furniture. A shelf would just collapse instantly as it has both downward and pull forces on it, which is why load bearing brackets bolted securely to the wall works there. These cam locks also will lose their tension eventually and need tightening when used on a free standing cabinet or table.
At 6:00 what size fortsner bit you use to fit the camlock in. Working on arcade machine.
If I remember rightly it was a 12mm. Sometimes drilling into board, I’ve had to file the point down a little so it does poke out the other side.
@@KingBespokeCreations ok 12mm great I got 2 boxes of forsner bit I think I gotta 12mm in there.....thanks.
@@cedricbanks2149 just check with the pieces you have as I know they do come in different sizes.
What are so many of these how-to video creators feel that we need background music? This was an interesting video to watch but only after I put it on mute. Stop with the annoying music.
Because we all learn what to do and what not to do. I use music in videos now but not over talking. Glad you still found the video useful 👍
That...looks like an awful system! No wonder you don't like them
And yet I kept them anyway 😂 #Yorkshireman
@@KingBespokeCreations I approve of reduce, reuse and recycle!
music sucks

Info may be good, but the music is too annoying. Bye.
