The prosecuter didnt hand in the evidence, but showed it, to make it seem as if tries to hide being on his side so blatanly, that everyone would think she is bad faith, but she predicted this happening and was on his side all along, knowing it would lead to a dismissal.
    Or.. she is braindead.. like honestly who wouldnt expect that case getting dropped the second the actual prosecuter brings up random evidence plus not being able to deny having insulted Baldwin on multiple occasions. Multiple things are true:
    The Armorer screwed up.
    The people working with the Armorer also turned all blame on her to themselves avoid blame.
    Alec Baldwin was reckless should have checked to make sure it was not loaded with a real bullet before pulling the trigger.
    Alec Baldwin should not have pulled the trigger on a real gun, loaded or unloaded, while aiming at other people.
    The prosecutors were illegally withholding evidence from the defense, basically cheating and making a mockery of the entire profession of law.
    Alec Baldwin almost certainly would have gotten in trouble for manslaughter on the merits of the case, but the prosecutors decided to cheat, so he walks away scot free.

    his take at 52:00 is terrible. Alec Baldwin is an actor, not an ammo expert or armourer. If they were dummy rounds and he opened the chamber to inspect the ammo, what is he going to look for? Not to mention, if someone with no expertise in gun safety attempts to inspect a gun to make sure there is no live ammunition in it, things can very well go wrong. It's not just that it's not his responsibility, but it's also a safety hazard.

    • @Rerolfer
      @Rerolfer 12 днів тому

      @chrishoward79 right. you think it instead shouldve been saved up for the guy he was supposed to shoot in the movie? lol.
      it all boils down to the fact that an actor is usually not a firearm professional. thats what the armorer is for. therefore it is fully the armorer fault and, in this case, the assistance director who handed him the gun in the armorers place.

      @gasad01374 no? For the rehearsal you don't need to pull the trigger at the people moving the camera.
      He could've waited until they did it and then when the camera was stationary, point at it. Camera operator is standing away from the lense, looking at the monitor.
      Which means that Baldwin didn't even aim at the lense like he was supposed to according to the script

      @@romanpopyk but do you understand that a live round should not have made it to set? Which is completely the armorer’s fault for not clearing the gun. Baldwin was only rehearsing the scene with what he thought was a cold gun, so whether or not if he pointed it or pulled the trigger doesn’t matter. He was told it was cold, and as an actor you trust prop master and armorer’s word in that situation. But unfortunately in this case the armorer wasn’t competent, there was a safety check failure in the chain of custody for this colt 45. Baldwin was the last to handle it, but there’s no way he could have known it was loaded because the people before him called it cold.
