Its easily the armorers fault idk how this can be debated
Stupidest thing I've ever read. He killed her because of his negligence and that is the most graceful light to paint him in. The rules of a movie set have no bearing on law until a shit ton of money is involved, go figure.

Xqc's metaphor of checking mirrors when he starts the car doesn't apply to the debate. If you're an actor playing a race car driver and the set mechanic tells you the car is good to drive, you don't bleed the brakes you just drive
at least we know xqc's never tried coke if he genuinely prefers a cokehead over a stoner handling a gun
i got a 5head take on this, u want a habitual cokehead or habitual stoner, not a person doing coke or weed for the first time.
Honestly I thought maybe he was trying to justify his coke use by doing mental gymnastics to make it seem better than weed.
I would rather a cokehead, too. The stoner could be on his best but he can be forgetful because of THC.
Seth>Sarah>Hannah>David>Alec. But we blame Alec?
Alec pulled the trigger. If someone hands me a gun and tells me it is unloaded, but I aim it at someone and pull the trigger and they get shot anyway, it is still my fault.
@@Broomtwo Not "someone", if the certified ammunition provider, the hired prop manager, the TRAINED armourer, and the on-site supervisor tell you that the gun is 'Cold', then how can Alec be at fault? I go full conspiracy on this one. The prosecuter didnt hand in the evidence, but showed it, to make it seem as if tries to hide being on his side so blatanly, that everyone would think she is bad faith, but she predicted this happening and was on his side all along, knowing it would lead to a dismissal.
Or.. she is braindead.. like honestly who wouldnt expect that case getting dropped the second the actual prosecuter brings up random evidence plus not being able to deny having insulted Baldwin on multiple occasions. If she would have want to win against him, she simply would have handed in the evidence, since it is so dead to rights (if I understood it properly, lots of "bullets moved from here to there in no chronological order).

Jensen ackles (Dean from supernatural) was a cast member on this movie, its crazy to think he was on a show that out of 15 seasons, 22 episodes per season being 50 minutes long. They also shot guns at least once every episode and nothing happened but yet he cant even film this movie without a crazy shooting happening. its literally on the armorer and the others, not the actor IMO.
So her job as an armorer, was to handle weapons on set and assure safe and proper use of them… and someone was shot. This is her fault and maybe even more of her fathers fault for giving somebody a role they are not capable of
it's so crazy that people are even torn about this, it was the armorer's fault clear as day.
Recently, the same thing almost happened on the SAME SET with Jensen Ackles (plays Dean in Supernatural). Not sure if this was mentioned in the video, as I just started watching, but I thought it was interesting to share.

This is just so sad, and such a tragic and unnecessary incident. Rest in peace Halyna ♥️
Multiple things are true:
The Armorer screwed up.
The people working with the Armorer also turned all blame on her to themselves avoid blame.
Alec Baldwin was reckless should have checked to make sure it was not loaded with a real bullet before pulling the trigger.
Alec Baldwin should not have pulled the trigger on a real gun, loaded or unloaded, while aiming at other people.
The prosecutors were illegally withholding evidence from the defense, basically cheating and making a mockery of the entire profession of law.
Alec Baldwin almost certainly would have gotten in trouble for manslaughter on the merits of the case, but the prosecutors decided to cheat, so he walks away scot free.
??? AN ACTOR HAS TO CHECK EVERY GUN yep makes sense when they pay people to litrally take care of just that who else is at fault but the armorer it really is wild to blame somone when they had no intent to hurt anyone smh you'd hope for the same defence when going through somthing like this rip that girl she would be alive if the armorer was competent

I like his car analogy, but it would be more accurate to call Alec the student driver, where it is the instructor’s job to inform the student driver to check his mirrors. If the student doesn’t check his mirrors, and hits a car, the instructor is at fault.
More like if I’m a ferryboat captain and I hire people to check that everything on the ship is maintained, they tell me it is, then the ship sinks because the ship wasn’t maintained, and then some goblin who can’t even drive tells me it’s as simple as checking mirrors.

It's disgusting how x excuses the immunity for the person in charge. She's the one that hired the armorer for too many jobs. The supervisor should never be granted immunity, esp if she hired the person she's throwing under the bus. With that logic, a manager could hire someone underqualified on purpose and face no consequences

This accident was just waiting to happen. They didn't even check the gun properly.
Why is it so hard for them to just check if it contains bullets or not? it takes maximum of 10 seconds, I don't understand
It was supposed to have prop ammo in it, so it's not as easy as just checking if it's clear or not.
@mephistoxd2627 yeah but couldn't you shake it and realize it is a prop bullet or not?
@@wrx1th873 I'm sure there is a way to check whether or not the ammo is inert, blank or real. The same way you could theoretically check tire pressure, oil, suspension and braking fluid before driving to work.
However, most people don't do that, and instead rely on professionals that know what they are doing to keep them safe. Such was the case here.
Btw. I do think that pointing a gun at someone and pulling the trigger is incredibly bad practice. I just don't think its criminal negligence by the actor if the two people on set hired for this specifically confirm that the gun is safe.
X's chat can be absolutely unhinged sometimes...
The vid was talking about how the lady was survived by her husband and son and chat was saying "hawk tuah" and "she was succing Alec"
Like brother? Hello?
Its funny how if it were common to bring live ammo on set they would check it with more caution.
Oh man, you give people way too much credit. All it would do it cause more accidents, there’s a reason why the rule exists in the first place.
Honestly if I'm about to act out a scene, I'd probably be too concerned about my dialogues and acting than some set prop, I can understand how Baldwin overlooked it. The one who bought bullets to a set and added it to the gun should be charged, if that stupid woman had a history of bringing guns and giving it to randos then she's the problem
Lil bro giving all these car allegories when he can't even drive properly in video games
How did the armorer go from looking like a 3 to a 9 when she appeared in court ?
Because that is how women get away with things. By looking prettier.

And the victim was a Ukrainian woman.
I dont get it. How could a single person blame baldwin for this. Its true he .aybe holds 5% of responsibility but how is it not on hannah forst yhen the other guy

his take at 52:00 is terrible. Alec Baldwin is an actor, not an ammo expert or armourer. If they were dummy rounds and he opened the chamber to inspect the ammo, what is he going to look for? The gun should have been ready to go when it was handed to him by the people who were assigned the job and have the "expertise" of handling the ammo and guns.
Not to mention, if someone with no expertise in gun safety attempts to inspect a gun to make sure there is no live ammunition in it, things can very well go wrong. It's not just that it's not his responsibility, but it's also a safety hazard.
If I handle a gun with no experience I wouldn't be playing around with the gun before the scene when the gun is ready when handed to him like you said and pretending to shoot well aiming at the crew members his negligence cause the women's death just as much as the amourer
@chrishoward79 right. you think it instead shouldve been saved up for the guy he was supposed to shoot in the movie? lol.
it all boils down to the fact that an actor is usually not a firearm professional. thats what the armorer is for. therefore it is fully the armorer fault and, in this case, the assistance director who handed him the gun in the armorers place.
Daves lemonade talks abt this
Hes one of the best crime yt channels

It's sad Baldwin went of the hook.
Goofy pat is wrong. Alec wasn't just an actor. He is the producer. He left out a lot. I don't understand why he didn't tell the full story with all the details!
I like how this shitshow shows current state of america
(chat): "why paid an armorer if everybody have to check"
do everyone know weapon system, how to maintenance a gun or how gun works?
checking gun is for safety, everybody who have the gun in their hand need to check is the gun is loaded or not.
Chat probably doesn’t wear seatbelts because it’s the driver’s job to drive safe
No it isn't and never was the job of an actor to check prop guns.
every single day, lgbtq and dei are shown to have insanely crazy impacts on everyone's life, this girl, the armorer was incompetent
X bringing up truck driver break analogy is so stupid. they arent the same, mechanical breaks BREAK sometimes without sign. unlike film, people literally have JOBS and are getting PAID to check the safety of the prop. YES alec couldve checked the gun first but theres literally multiiple people who are SUPPOSED TO and getting paid to check the props.
possibly referring to a fleet truck. corporate truck which the driver doesn’t own , which also likely goes through a rigorous testing process
Is this guy the guy as the daily dose of internet
People forget Alec was also a producer on set. He who pulls the trigger should be sentenced. If you are pointing a real gun at someone and pulling the trigger, you better be sure not once, not twice, but THRICE that the gun is empty.
It irritates me so much how a celebrity, openly against guns, kills someone with a gun on a set where he is the producer and then shifts the blame entirely on a young woman.
Delusional 😂
Ariana what are you doing here 😂

Why did he even point a gun at people?
He was rehearsing a scene where he had to stare down the camera and point a gun towards the camera
He didn’t know there was a live bullet inside and the rest is history
@@ooczzy why did he pull the trigger then? That wasn't in the script. Also, why did he rehearse it while the people were standing near the camera?
@@romanpopykbecause that’s were the people were supposed to be?
@gasad01374 no? For the rehearsal you don't need to pull the trigger at the people moving the camera.
He could've waited until they did it and then when the camera was stationary, point at it. Camera operator is standing away from the lense, looking at the monitor.
Which means that Baldwin didn't even aim at the lense like he was supposed to according to the script
@@romanpopyk but do you understand that a live round should not have made it to set? Which is completely the armorer’s fault for not clearing the gun. Baldwin was only rehearsing the scene with what he thought was a cold gun, so whether or not if he pointed it or pulled the trigger doesn’t matter. He was told it was cold, and as an actor you trust prop master and armorer’s word in that situation. But unfortunately in this case the armorer wasn’t competent, there was a safety check failure in the chain of custody for this colt 45. Baldwin was the last to handle it, but there’s no way he could have known it was loaded because the people before him called it cold.
Xqc libral chat is so annoying and everyone should have proper gun handling but not having proper training doesnt remove their right to own and handle a gun its not about safty its about freedom
